You’re definitely going to want to hit CVS tomorrow or Monday for all the free after ECBs deals! There isn’t much that’s really interesting for the week beyond that, so I’m taking the week off from my usual scenarios. I’ll add a Mr. Linky at the bottom of this post for anyone that’s worked up some spectular deals for the 2-day event though!

There is also a $1/1 Thermacare in the P&G for Dec. AND!! There’s a $5 Rebate for the Zantac in the 11/9 SS.

Ooh, thanks, Alli! I totally missed those.

thanks for all the lists. i went to cvs at 4:30 am when i got off work. i love working 3rd shift, get all the goodies before others get up. I feel like i robbed the place, i had so much in my cart and spent little oop. i did have to spend some though, i had no left over ecb’s to roll over.

I’m fairly new to this, but I have begun to pick up some real deals on items that I would have bought otherwise. I went at 10am this morning and most of the stuff was out already (Halls, Listerine). I was kind of ticked off (still picked up Excedrin and some chocolates (only a little bit on sale with last time’s ECBs). I just looked up the store hours and found out that it is open 24 hours, so I guess people went at midnight- unless the store had none to begin with.
One thing that I wanted to mention is that you should really only buy stuff you need- otherwise I think it’s a little tacky, stingy and unfair for others who want to get in on the deal- but can’t get there at the crack of dawn. Just my thoughts.

Oops sorry I mesed up in adding my link. SORRY!

i for one use everything i buy. most of this stuff was used as gifts for xmas. but with a big family we usually use all this stuff up pretty fast, I can’t speak for people who stockpile everything, but i think calling others stingy and tacky is a little uncalled for just becasue you didn’t get everything on your list

I agree. I was at a store that opened at 9 a.m. and noticed another woman walking the same aisles. We laughed at how we were scouring CVS for deals and she helped me look for things she had already bought at a 24 hour store. I don’t begrudge her going to multiple stores, and I don’t think comments like yours (tacky, stingy, unfair) are in line with the spirit of this blog. With two kids under four, Dealseeking mom is my only way to find time for my favorite hobby – bargain shopping!

The Thermacare coupon excludes trial sizes. The ones that are free after ECBs this week say “Trial size” on them. I didn’t know this either until I went to the store today and found them. I was bummed because I had gotten extra coupons to use with this deal.

I agree about the spirit of this blog, Deal Seeking Mom, allows so many of us to do something fun while saving money for our families. I do stockpile a lot of items, but I also find awesome uses for them. This year I have two family members who are begging for my “care packages” as gifts. Also, my local health department really appreciates the 4 diabetes meters that I was able to provide for them after last weeks deals! And for Christmas this year my workplace adopted a family of 8, and all of them are getting their own toiletry basket with lots of cool stuff that they would otherwise not be able to have. Just because we get every deal we can, doesn’t mean we are selfish or “tacky, stingy and unfair.” It just means we are smart, giving, financially responsible and know how to have some fun!

Went at 9:30 am to two stores, and the A&H and Thermacare were the only things missing. Also, both stores didn’t have the 20-ct Excedrin; they only had 24-ct. The checkout guy at the first store said we couldn’t use ECB’s on the same visit; I know he’s wrong, and I should have argued more. Maybe next time.

I bought 2 cleansers bogo at 50% so it comes to around $12. No where on the form does it say you have to buy $15 worth, just buy two. Does anyone see a problem with this? They do ask for the price of each.
