Whey Protein Isolate
Vitalabs, Inc., Jonesboro, GA is voluntarily recalling four specific lot numbers of Whey-26 Protein Powder due to concerns over potential Salmonella contamination. For a complete list of lot numbers and brand names, go here. This recall extends to various parts of the United States including Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Washington and outside the United States in Aruba, Ontario and Poland. The recalled product was offered through a variety of distribution channels including health food stores, clinics, fitness centers and internet based companies.
Consumers who purchased any of the affected lot numbers are urged to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund or credit. Consumers with questions may contact Vitalabs, Inc. at 1-800-241-3017, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. EST.
Other Recalls
Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.
