I went to target today. I handed over my manufactories coupon first. Then she told me she could not accept my target coupons or the other coupons I printed online. I asked why she and she called the manager. The manager told me I copied the coupons. I pointed out the number were different in the upper right hand corner and she continued to say the ones across the bottom were the same. Then she left to and called over the security guard who noticed the coupons all had different numbers. He asked if they scan through and she told him she had not tried. All the coupons scanned because I never copy them. Please advise what I should do in this situation. Should I call the corporate office or how should I handle a situation like this? I didn’t appreciate the manager telling me I copied coupons when I never do that.

All the Target coupons print out with the same number. I only know because my Publix asked me if I copied coupons when I used my Target coupons there because the numbers were the same. Of course, the manufacturer coupons have different numbers, but the Target store coupons do not. I would call corporate on that one.

As a Target manager who uses this site often I can honestly tell you people ARE starting to copy Target printable coupons. Becuae of this team members are advised to contact the manger with MULITPLE coupons of the same coupon. Its because one person is beginning to ruin it for everyone. Nothing is going to take place as of right now, but if this trend continues we will as a corporate store only accept circular and mobile coupons. It SUCKS because I am the worlds craziest coupon lady (my store HATES when I come shopping:P) but I use them as well and I get no extra treatment….mine are looked at and sometimes YES the assest protection officer comes over……sucks but that is what is happening
