    I can’t seem to find the name of them on the Vicks site, but we really love those plug-in things that make the whole house smell like Vicks Vaporub. It is SOOOO soothing to the chest.

    Myself or my husband always make Chicken Noodle soup for the whole family and my husband makes a hot tottie (sp?) for himself. He swears by that drink but I don’t do whiskey!

    When my kids have a cold, I give them tylenol and run a vaporizer. I also push liquids and make them rest. I hate it when they’re sick!

    When my kids are under the weather, our couch becomes a cozy, feel-better spot. We bring out lots of blankets, put some beverages on a nearby TV tray & let the kids camp out & watch cartoons. It always seems to help them take it easy, which is sometimes hard to do with active boys!

    Rub Vicks on my childs feet and put socks on over it. It soothes them at night to get some restfull zzzzzz’s. Just a little bit of advice passed down from my Grandmother-in-law.

    Plump up pillows, read books to, feed lots of juice and other goodies to, pop in a favorite dvd to watch. We encourage lots of hand washing and kindness by the other members of the family when someone is sick!
