Thanks to Disney-Hyperion for sending me a copy of Beatrice Zinker, Upside Down Thinker and for providing a prize pack!

I know I always appreciate age-appropriate reading recommendations for my younger kids, so I’m pleased to share with you this book by a brand new author that’s perfect for elementary age readers that are just beginning chapter books!
Beatrice Zinker, Upside Down Thinker is sweet, funny, and entertaining, all wrapped up with a great message about not being afraid to do your own thing. The cute illustrations give young eyes a break from too much text on a page while helping to keep them engaged in the story.
Recommended for ages 9-12, it’s available for purchase now!

Beatrice does her best thinking upside down.
Hanging from trees by her knees, doing handstands . . . for Beatrice Zinker, upside down works every time. She was definitely upside down when she and her best friend, Lenny, agreed to wear matching ninja suits on the first day of third grade. But when Beatrice shows up at school dressed in black, Lenny arrives with a cool new outfit and a cool new friend. Even worse, she seems to have forgotten all about the top-secret operation they planned!
Can Beatrice use her topsy-turvy way of thinking to save the mission, mend their friendship, and flip things sunny-side up?

My daughters would LOVE this!!
Jen D.
I remind them that God loves them and has good things for them. I also remind them of times when they’ve been discouraged and how it worked out in the end. It’s a good time to remind them how they successfully worked their way through a difficult time previously.

My kid is pretty cheery, so he’s usually able to see the bright side of things quickly when he’s down. Snuggles & a Popsicle also help!

Hello! I am a subscriber to your site and love (and sincerely appreciate) the time and effort you put into your work and how you share all of it with us!
I have a son who has Autism who needs positive encouragement every day. We are always inventing creative ways to help him “turn his frown upside down” and to turn a difficult moment into a positive and uplifting one. It is quite challenging so I am constantly looking for resources to help me help him. This book sounds like a perfect addition to our collection of ways to help our son. In turn, we encourage him to help others, so if I am chosen to receive this book, once we have shared it and enjoyed it with our son, we will gladly share it with another family who is going through a similar struggle. Thank you!

We try to find the silver linings in any situations. I also tell my son my experience and how I felt so he won’t feel he is alone.
