Just thought everyone in SC needs to know I went to Wal-mart today and they refused my computer coupons. They said they would no longer take them, even after I brought out their policy. I made them take out all my items I would have bought using them. Just thought you might want to know.

Pam, I live in the Charleston, SC area, and was at Walmart on Friday with an enormous amount of coupons, totaling more than $100.00 off my total…the cashier fought me with the internet coupons, then called her sales manager over, who also fought me. I didn’t let up, so they then also called over the Store Manager, who gladly told them to accept the coupons. The store manager said they have to take the coupons if the say “manufacturers coupon” on the top, as well as have a border around them with the expiration date and address. Next time ask to see the Store Manager. I refuse to let them badger me into paying full price- especially with all the great coupons I printed from the Kraft Kitchens website. In fact, after paying, I also showed the manager that they had charged me too much for their store brand yogurts (marked $.33 each, rang up $.44.) I had bought more than a dozen , so she, again, gladly reimbursed me the difference- so pay attention to what the prices are ringing up as well, and don’t be afraid to ask for your money back. Glad to read that you didn’t buy the items, but want you to know it is not all Walmarts in South Carolina.
