Back-to-School Giveaway: Wave LX Street Surfing Board

With an increased focus these days on getting kids on their feet and outside to play, I’m excited to tell you about today’s giveaway. The Wave LX (Light Xtreme) is a caster board that blends motions of surfing, snowboarding and skateboarding to produce the fast growing and popular sport of Street Surfing. If you think that sounds a little difficult, then I’d say you’re right. It is difficult to get the hang of it. However, once it clicks, it can make for hours of fun!

The Wave LX is intended for ages 5 and up, but I’d argue that a 5 year old would have a lot of difficulty in using this product. My 6 and 7 year olds have been trying this product all summer and are still trying to learn the motions. Though it’s challenging, they’ve enjoyed it. Of course, I recommend that your child wear a helmet and pads for added safety.

    We LOVE to go to the skate park or hockey rink:) All six kids grab their roller blades, scooters, bikes, and skate boards (helmets and pads or course!) we toss them in the back of our big van and off we go-even hubby roller blades….We can make a whole afternoon of it topped off by DQ.

    I can only imagine how excited a certain 8 year old would be to try this cool new board:)

    We love to go camping, of course not with a tent! Mama must have a bathroom. my 4 year old is already asking for a skateboard for christmas. Wouldn’t this help.

    We are lucky enough to live by several waterparks/amusement parks. We purchase season passes for the family for Christmas every year and then enjoy the waterslides all summer long!
