Tune in all week for hot Back-To-School Giveaways. We’ve got some great prizes for the kids, with a couple of special prizes to pamper mom!!! Look for a new 48-hour giveaway each morning and each afternoon, and be sure to check out all of the current giveaways for other great prizes!
Today’s giveaway is especially for all the younger siblings who stand at the window longingly watching their big brothers and sisters head off to school!
Aren’t these fuzzy little guys just about the cutest thing ever? Smooshies are basically a fuzzy pillow with velcro arms, legs, features, hair, etc. that allow your child to express their creativity. You can find extra parts to increase the combinations at Michael’s and Joann Fabric’s.
I don’t know which of my kids was more enthralled with the Smooshie. My youngest just loves to snuggle and cuddle with it. But he’s also enjoying ripping off random body parts and waving them around with delight. Note: Smooshies are intended for kids ages 3 and older, but I let me little guy give it a whirl while closely supervised.
The older kids got a little creative and got a kick out of seeing what “kooky creation” they could come up with by putting body parts in unusual places. I didn’t anticipate my oldest showing much interest, but even he surprised me and decided to get in on the fun.
One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a complete Smooshies kit, ready to be snuggled and played with!
To enter, leave a comment and tell me about your favorite toy as a young child! Was it something soft and cuddly and sentimental or something that sparked hours of imaginative play?

I had every single care bears there was. I also loved strawberry shortcake, which I still have.

My favorite toy was the barbie perfume factory. I remember the Christmas I got it and will never forget that feeling (or that rose smell!) I don’t have it anymore, but I found a special perfume that’s a grownup (and much more expensive!) version of it.
No, neither of my boys have anything like it!

My favorite toy was a cupie doll named “Little Pearl” named after my grandmother that raised me. Once we went camping 1/2 state away and our suitcases flew out the back of our truck. We didn’t realize until we got home. Needless to say I was very upset as a child b/c she was in one. 3 days later, Highway Patrol called and said she was safe. (They had found something with our names on it). Of course, we had to drive back. LOL (Well, probably not so funny to my folks)

My favorite toy was my Little Professor. It’s a handheld “game” that gives you math problems to solve. Yes, I know – pretty sick, uh? =)

My favorite toy – Barbie, hands down! I had several, and still have them (in the attic). I alway thought that my daughter might like to have them some day…. I don’t have a daughter, though, LOL! Maybe I’ll give them to my neice!

We played for hours with barbies. My grandmother made clothes for us so we always had every outfit imaginable.

One of my favorite toys as a kid was this doll that had brown hair with blonde highlights. Depending on how you brushed her hair, sometimes she looked like a blonde, sometimes like a brunette. It was so facinating too me. Such a simple thing too.
