Tune in all week for hot Back-To-School Giveaways. We’ve got some great prizes for the kids, with a couple of special prizes to pamper mom!!! Look for a new 48-hour giveaway each morning and each afternoon, and be sure to check out all of the current giveaways for other great prizes!
There’s no doubt that being a mom is a hard job – the hardest job there is! And while the rewards are absolutely worth it, I’ve teamed up with Jamie from Circle of Sentiments to offer you something a little more tangible this week!
Isn’t this necklace that she created for me gorgeous? I opted to go with the first initials for all of my kids since some of the longer names wouldn’t fit on the small size discs that I selected. I was a little skeptical of how the finished product would turn out with so many discs, but I absolutely LOVE it.
I’m so impressed with the quality and craftmanship, and when I wore my necklace to Blogher, and I received dozens of compliments on it while I was there. It’s quickly become one of my favorite accessories, and I always wear it when I travel as a reminder of my kiddos.
One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a custom necklace with up to two discs from Jamie’s Signature Collection, valued at $65!
To enter, simply leave a comment and tell me about your most rewarding moment as a mother.
Jamie is also offering Deal Seeking Mom readers 20% off their Circle of Sentiments’ orders using coupon code dsm at checkout. Be sure to check out all of her beautiful collections to take advantage of this offer!

The hugs and kisses are my favorite !

I have gotten so many deals from using your newsfeed on FB and they just seem to keep getting better. I would like to have this necklace to give to my 19 year old daughter who is finally getting her life on the right track. I would like it to be a reminder of those who love her and want her to succeed.

It is rewarding seeing the children learn and begin to have relationships.

It amazes me that my kids are both my biggest challenge and my biggest blessing. I have one “normal” son and one developmentally delayed son. Sometimes I’m not sure which one wears me out more! They are both incredibly special in their own way and I love that about them! God is good!

One of the most rewarding things for me is when I can make her feel better after she hurts herself or has to go to the doctor.

The best thing for me is watching how compassionate my two sons are towards each other and us when any of us are feeling down or sick. They bring out blankets and stuffed animals to help sooth who ever needs it. Then they give hugs and kisses and all of this is totally unprompted, just done out of love. That just melts my heart.

My most rewarding moment as a “bonus mom” (step mom) is watching my husband teach his son to play baseball. It is really fun to watch them play catch and my husband teach him the fundamentals.

The best moment of motherhood is when my 4 year old taught me that even a little is still a lie and can hurt bad! We went to soup or salad for dinner and our 4 year old just turned 4. I did not want to pay 5 bucks for her dinner since she is not a big eater so I told the cashier she was 3, well she was in ear range and said “No I am not I am 4”! I told the cashier she would be 4 soon but my daughter was still upset. All through dinner she was so upset and kept telling me she was 4 and not 3. There and then it hit me that a lie is a lie, and even a little white lie that you think wont hurt, can really do a lot of harm. I am so thankful everyday for daughters and the lessons they teach me!

Most rewarding? Watching my children develop a relationship with each other. I’ve always said the best gift we give our kiddos is their siblings.

My most rewarding moment as a mother so far has been the first time my baby looked at me and said, “Mama.” It melted my heart.

Being a mom makes life more rewarding.

I would definitely say that it is the little things every day that make this job so rewarding…my 2 year old coming up behind me and wrapping her arms around my neck and sweetly saying “I wuv you Mommy”!

The thing that makes me feel the greatest is seeing one of my boys doing something for somebody else. That makes me think it is all worth it.

Everyday is rewarding being a mother, but one of the most rewarding moments was when I took my 6 year old daughter to Disney World this year, and she got a Cinderella makeover. The look on her face when she got to meet Cinderella was priceless. Just magical. :)

Watching my son take care of his baby sister and tell her I love you! That is truly amazing!
