Tune in all week for even more hot Back-To-School Giveaways, and be sure to check out all of the current giveaways for other great prizes!

I don’t know about you, but at my house, doing laundry for five kids is a never ending chore, and I’m always looking for ways to make it easier. So when Clorox sent me their Complete the Cycle kit, I was especially excited to read their tips and try out the very cool FlipFold.

Have you always wanted perfectly folded shirts and tees like those department store displays? Now you can organize your very own drawers and closets with the FlipFold. Just follow the simple instructions included in the box, and you’ll be flipping and folding your way to neater drawers and less wrinkles in no time.

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Complete the Cycle prize package that includes:

  • A laminated copy of the Complete the Cycle Laundry Regimen Guide
  • 50-oz. bottle of Gain Laundry Detergent
  • 34-oz. bottle of Downy Ultra
  • 22-oz. bottle of Clorox 2 Ultra
  • A Clorox Bleach Pen
  • Coupon for 1 Free bottle of Clorox Bleach
  • FlipFold Ultimate Folding Tool

I try to do a load a day so it doesn’t pile up.

do your laundry on one day and you’ll save money running the dryer on one day as opposed to several days because it takes a lot of energy to heat up. Do many loads and your dryer doesn’t waste energy heating up.

I do it all on one day instead of spreading it throughout the week. It seems like less work that way.

Only do full loads , then it won’t seem like you’re always doing laundry.

I get my kids to help out. With 6 of us in the house, I need all the help I can get, even if it is young ones helping out.

I always pretreat stains with the stain stick and then wash when I can. My kids clothes are always in good shape for resale.

I save time and money by teaching my daughter to actually put away her clothes instead of just throwing them in the hamper because she was too lazy to hang them up. Heaven only knows how many clean clothes I have actually washed again because they were in the hamper.

I like to pile my laundry up and then fold it while I watch TV and unwind at night. It is easy to just fold without having to think about it while I am distracted by the TV.

To save money, try hanging your laundry out when the weather is nice.

I have a delay cycle which will delay up to 12 hours, so I set it to wash at 7 am so by the time my kids and my husband are out the door my clothes are ready for the dryer – I love the delay cycle!

To save time and money I wait until I have a full load of laundry; less water, detergent, and work!

My best stain fighting tip is to use brake cleaner (for automobiles) for grease stains. It smells a little funky, but it works!!! jenmizener at gmail dot com

I have the stain duo trying to ruin every pair of clothes I put on their back. So to prevent throwing away shirt after shirt I keep a bottle of stain treater hanging on the side of the hamper. Before anything goes in it is inspected and sprayed. It has helped tremendously.

I put baby socks in a mesh lingerie bag so they don’t get “lost” in the washer and dryer. I just hang the bag on my diaper changer and put the socks in there after she’s done wearing them. This way, I don’t have to sort and I always know I have all the pairs.

My fave tip is just to stay on top of it…with five kids, I can’t take a break…I need to do one or two loads a day at least…

To solve the problem of my husband putting my non-dryer clothes in the dryer I put anything that can’t be dried in a laundry bag. Then if he does laundry I don’t have to worry about him shrinking my clothes. He knows to take the laundry bag out and hang dry or dry flat anything in it.

I use a hamper that has 3 sections. This keeps laundry sorted and ready to straight into the hamper. My baby has his own hamper in his room right at the end of the changing table. This keeps his laundry close to toss the clothes in and separate for using baby detergent.

Wash your outerwear less often, but obviously, that’s at your discretion. That way, you can save on loads.
