Tune in all week for even more hot Back-To-School Giveaways, and be sure to check out all of the current giveaways for other great prizes!

To help kick off the school year and make school lunches a little bit more fun, Walmart, Smuckers, Motts and Pepperidge Farm have joined together to create LunchboxBuilder.com, a fun site where users can design their own lunchbox — complete with materials, colors and decals. You can print out your design and also add it to the gallery, where other visitors will vote on their favorite design, and the winners will receive an amazing prize package worth over $150! Be sure to take a few minutes to print coupons on some of your kids’ favorite snack foods while you’re there as well.

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will also win one of these great prize packages (worth over $150!), which includes:

  • iPod Shuffle (color may vary)
  • Insulated lunchbox
  • Sharpie pens in multiple colors
  • Colored pencils
  • Smuckers Uncrustables container
  • Optical mouse
  • Smuckers belt pack
  • Motts reusable shopping bag
  • Smuckers Strawberry
  • Pencils
  • Product coupons
  • $65 Walmart gift card
  • Pedometer
  • 5 Labels for Education, valued at 10,000 points each

To enter, leave a comment and tell me what you do to make your kids’ lunches healthy and fun! Do you have a favorite fun food? Do you include a handwritten note reminding them that you love them?

We use different fruits and veggies. Not giving the same things makes things interesting. He also helps me make his lunch so I give him a couple of choices and he can decide what he wants. A little control goes a long way.

I always include a note, usually with a small sticker attached for her to wear. I wear a matching one when I pick her up and it always makes her smile. Foodwise, I use the usual tricks. Shaped sandwiches with veggie faces and bento boxes because my daughter loves compartments (who doesn’t?).

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
