    our favorite beach is where I grew up, Emerald Isle, North Carolina. We are now three hours away, so stuff to keep ourthee little ones happy in the car on the way there would be terrif!

    we enjoy taking all 19 members of our immediate family to virginia beach. We load up several cars and make the long journey…spend our days on the beach and our night in our rented house…..Our family looks forward to it every year!

    My family’s favorite vacation spot by far has been Disney World. We are hoping to go back in the next couple years, but I do want to take the family out west next summer to see the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park, San Diego Zoo and Disneyland. My husband wants to see Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge.

    We have a two year old so we have not had many family trips yet. We are heading to Orlando though in September and know it will be fun. Also we enjoyed Hilton Head SC.

    Growing up, we always went to Ship Island, located off of the coast of Mississippi. A boat would bring you to a small island, you would walk across the island, and use the beach on the opposite side. It was beautiful!! I have wonderful memories going there, however, since all the hurricanes, I am still looking for a new place to bring my kids!

    Our favorite vacation spot is Destin, Florida. We live in Texas so it’s only a day’s drive away. Destin boasts white sandy beaches, emerald gulf water, and plenty of crab houses for a tasty lunch or dinner! We also love McGuire’s pub: they have a large menu, including any and every kind of hamburger you can think of. Imagine eating a peanut butter hamburger!

    our favorite family vacation (so far, we haven’t had many) is The Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, Va. Our kids love the water and all the activities were just right for them. Also the rooms were great and we just had an overall good time.

    Funny, I read someone say Carlsbad, CA. We used to live there and LOVED it. The flowering fields there are beautiful. We now enjoy going to Breckenridge, CO. We just took our 2 1/2 year old skiing over Spring Break and it was a blast.

    Of course Disney topped the list! Went there for the first time last year. Cost us $2000! However, our favorite is every weekend in the summer Thurs -Mon CAMPING! 33ft airconditioned camper, no phones, (well maybe cell) , just fun with my FAMILY!
