Could you use an extra thousand dollars? I know, couldn’t we all…

I wish I could give you all $1,000, especially with the holidays looming, but sadly that’s not in my budget. However, the good news is I’ve teamed with a fabulous group of bloggers to give away a $1,000 Visa gift card to one lucky reader!

Enter below by answering what YOU would do with an extra $1,000 if you win! And be sure to visit Kevin & Amanda, Picky Palate, Hostess with the Mostess, Tater Tots and Jello and The Hopeless Housewife to thank them for joining me in this amazing giveaway.

Enter through 10/14 at 11:59pm. Good luck to all!

I would put the money toward adding a half bath to my house. 5 people with 1 bathroom isn’t going as well as I had hoped. :)

Since our weeklong vacation this past summer was cut to 2 days due to a death in the family, I would put some towards planning a nicer vacation for this coming summer and use the rest to pay down our mortgage.

Purchase gifts for those who have been so generous to us in the past. Pull a few extra requests from the Giving Tree at church.

Home improvement most likely, but realize that could change depending on what’s going on in my life when the money arrives.

My kiddos and I would spend some of the money buying pet food and taking it to our local humane society, as we try to do every year. They have so many animals to care for and appreciate every help they can get. With the rest we would give our own family and friends a brighter christmas! :)

my daugher is getting married in a few months and i would love to be able to help pay for her wedding. as a divorced mother of four girls, (two in college) i barely make ends meet. im so proudof the fact that she and her fiance are working so hard to pay for their own wedding but i feel bad that i cant do more. as a mother of the bride i want to be able do to at least do part of what the brides family would traditionally do.

I would buy a new dishwasher that is currently being held shut with a binder clip and a new gas BBQ grill that only burns in the front center. Both are about 12 years old. We love to grill and living in Arizona allows us to use our grill pretty much every day. Thank you! Angela
