I received numerous comments and complaints last month about how ALL YOU magazine has been offering additional coupon inserts in the newstand issues leaving out faithful subscribers. Many of you wrote to ALL YOU customer service, and I’m happy to share that your efforts were not in vain!
ALL YOU took notice and has issued a response:
We are currently reviewing our policies about accepting coupon advertising, with a goal of more closely aligning the coupon value in our newsstand and subscriber editions. Because we work several months in advance, however, the newsstand edition of the June issue includes an extra booklet with $12.50 worth of coupons. The two editions are otherwise the same in terms of coupon value.
ALL YOU is offering subscribers the chance to receive the extra insert at no cost when you email [email protected].
Include the following info in your email:
1) Your account number, found on the mailing label just above your name and address. It is nine digits and is usually located between two asterisks, for example *123456789*
2) Your name and address as it appears on the mailing label
3) Your e-mail address
4) A specific mention that you are looking for the “Coupon book from the June issue of ALL YOU”

First of all, I don’t know why they would discriminate based on where you purchased your subscription. You’re a subscriber, and they should honor sending the coupons regardless. They’re still receiving the money for the subscriptions.
For those of you that have ordered through my site and haven’t received your first issue, you can check on your subscriptions directly on the ALL YOU website by following the instructions on the FAQs page. It can take up to 6-8 weeks or slightly longer to receive your first issue based on where ALL YOU is in their label printing process when they receive your order.

Thanks for posting Tara! I e-mailed them earlier today and shortly after got a response saying that I would receive the insert by mail….even though my subscription doesn’t start until June 26 :). I figured it didn’t hurt to ask – Yeah!!!

Oh – I just read the last comments. I ordered through DSM when she posted the 2 year deal and have not received an issue yet and so didn’t have a #. I just specified this and they included my acct. # with the info when I should receive my first issue etc. (see above). HTH

wow that’s a very good idea but i was saving my swagbucks for a new phone lol… i already subscribed via promotion here… i called them a couple of weeks back regarding the subscription because i haven’t seen my magazine yet… and they also said my first issue will be coming june 26th. so i guess we’re all on the same page now. ;o)

I contacted All You about my subscription and they could not find it. I signed up through DSM about a month ago. I am assuming, it didn’t go through. I just want to make sure I don’t sign up through Amazon or someone else and I get two subscriptions.

Ugh, they said they the same thing to me thing about being out but giving me an extra issue, it is a two year subscription… we probably won’t be the US anymore in two years, haha!
I couldn’t find them at Walmart yesterday either! Phooey!
