What do all of the abbreviations and acronyms mean?
One of the most frequent emails I receive is in regards to all those abbreviations that we “couponistas” use when posting store deals, so I’ve put together a Coupon Lingo Quick Reference Guide to help you understand all of the abbreviations!
Where can I find a list of available coupons?
The Deal Seeking Mom Coupon Database is a listing of currently available coupons to help you save more on your grocery bill. Search available coupons to match them with your local grocery store ad or the recipes you plan to make in the coming week.
How do I get extra copies of coupons?
Whether you’re looking for extra copies of certain coupons or whole inserts without having to go out on Sunday to get the paper, these resources are a great place to find more coupons:
What do I do if a store won’t accept my coupons?
You should start by looking up your store’s coupon policy, many of which you can see by clicking here. If you can’t find a policy or what you’re being told in the store is different than the official policy, I’d recommend emailing or calling the customer service center for the chain. If your store doesn’t accept printable coupons, you may want to call the manufacturer and ask if they can send you regular coupons instead.
Do you offer technical support for printing coupons?
Unfortunately, Deal Seeking Mom cannot offer assistance with coupon printing issues. However, I encourage you to contact the coupon host directly.
How do I subscribe by email?
You can follow these instructions to subscribe to the daily email digest from Deal Seeking Mom so that you don’t miss any deals!
Can you change my email address on your daily emails?
Unfortunately, I don’t have the ability to change your email address. It’s a precaution that Feedburner has in place to prevent unscrupulous people from spamming you. What I recommend doing is following the instructions to register your new email address to receive the newsletter. You can then click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of one of the emails at your old email address to take it off the list.
How do I start a blog?
Starting and maintaining a blog takes a lot of hard work and dedication. I’d love to be able to answer all of your questions specifically, but it would be pretty long and involved. I’d recommend that you ask your questions in the Deal Seeking Mom Forums and check out my post about affiliate programs that I recommend.
Can you add my blog to your blogroll?
Thanks for your inquiry. As you can imagine, I receive a ton of requests such as these. After much consideration, I’ve made the decision not to do blog rolls or link exchanges so that no one is left out.
Can I link to Deal Seeking Mom on my site?
Yes, of course! I only ask that you don’t copy and paste entire posts from Deal Seeking Mom (excerpts with a link back to the original are okay) and that you credit me when you find a deal on Deal Seeking Mom first.
Will you promote my product or service?
Please send all promotional opportunities and media requests to media (at) dealseekingmom (dot) com.
How do I tell you about a deal I’ve found?
If you’ve got a great deal to share, please email me at deals (at) dealseekingmom (dot) com. I’d also encourage you to post the deal on the Deal Seeking Mom Forums. I do ask that you include all of the information needed to take advantage of a deal in your post, but you’re more than welcome to include your blog address in your signature, and it’s a great way to promote your blog and network with other bloggers.
