I received numerous comments and complaints last month about how ALL YOU magazine has been offering additional coupon inserts in the newstand issues leaving out faithful subscribers. Many of you wrote to ALL YOU customer service, and I’m happy to share that your efforts were not in vain!
ALL YOU took notice and has issued a response:
We are currently reviewing our policies about accepting coupon advertising, with a goal of more closely aligning the coupon value in our newsstand and subscriber editions. Because we work several months in advance, however, the newsstand edition of the June issue includes an extra booklet with $12.50 worth of coupons. The two editions are otherwise the same in terms of coupon value.
ALL YOU is offering subscribers the chance to receive the extra insert at no cost when you email [email protected].
Include the following info in your email:
1) Your account number, found on the mailing label just above your name and address. It is nine digits and is usually located between two asterisks, for example *123456789*
2) Your name and address as it appears on the mailing label
3) Your e-mail address
4) A specific mention that you are looking for the “Coupon book from the June issue of ALL YOU”

FYI– Amazon is having a magazine promotion for the ALL YOU magazine. get a 1-year subscription for $10; shipping is free. That makes it only .83 an issue!

I am thinking that they are going to automatically send them to subscribers as I received the one from the May issue in the mail today, as did my mom, we are both subscribers. Neither of us had called or emailed, YET! I am glad they sent them since they are great coupons and a rebate too! Keep an eye out in your mail.

I just heard back from All You. They won’t send me the insert because I purchased my subscription through a “magazine agency.” I ordered it through you :-) I’m really upset that they won’t honor this. Any ideas!??? I’ve copied their response below.

WOW, Lauren, that’s NUTS! Bet I’m gonna get the same response, then. I ordered mine through a fund-raiser for my neice’s school (just before the ALL YOU link was posted here on DSM). I sure hope they reconsider or I won’t be renewing at all.

This is wierd! I also ordered through the deal here on DSM. I haven’t not received any issues yet, but I did send the email request to Customer Service to get the coupon insert for June. The response I received says they will be sending it and makes no mention of my buying it through a magazine agency. I have pasted the email below.

I have not received any issues yet either. I received my order confirmation two months ago on March 15. I checked on the customer service website and it says my subscription is active and expires in April 2010, yet I have never received an issue. It is frustrating, because it appears that since the subscription expires in April 2010 I should have received the May issue but nothing yet.

Hi Tara,
Do you know how long it takes for you to get your trail issue of the magazine? I signed up for the trail issues of the magazine and have recieved nothing yet and it has been aleast a month now and due to this I can not get the coupons for June either, but I have no customer number yet :(
