Walgreens: Upcoming Excedrin Money Maker

February 17, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 23 Comments

Walgreens has a money-making opportunity coming up that starts this Sunday, February 21st, so I thought I’d let you know now so you can print the necessary coupons!

Excedrin Menstrual Complete (20-24 ct.), $2.50
Get $2 RRs

$2/1 Excedrin printable
Better than FREE after coupon and RRs!

If you’d prefer the regular Excedrin, you can get it for $0.50, but why pay extra when the menstrual complete is the same medication in a pink package? (via MoneyMateKate)

Excedrin (20-24 ct.), $2.50
$2/1 Excedrin printable
$0.50 after coupon!

I like to stock up on pain medication when I can get a great deal like this, because then I can keep a bottle upstairs, one downstairs, one in my purse, one in my travel bag, etc.

Thanks, For The Mommas!

Hah, I’m the same way with painkillers – specifically Excedrin. There’s one in the bathroom, the kitchen, my handbag and my mother’s house!

By the way, read the formula on the bottle of Menstrual – it’s the exact same as Extra Strength and Migraine, it just comes in a pretty pink package for girls:

Just so you know, there is no difference in the Menstrual Complete formula and the regular (or Migraine formula, for that matter). If you read the label, the ingredients are exactly the same. The only thing that’s different is the packaging (and sometimes the price).

Well, now isn’t that clever, Kate! There you go guys — just buy the pink for the money maker and refill your “manly” containers, LOL.

Oops! Didn’t mean to duplicate MoneyMateKate’s comment. When I started typing it, there were no comments, but then I went to the Excedrin site to double check the ingredients and didn’t see hers before I clicked submit. Glad to see I’m not the only one that had noticed that, though!

This seems like such a great deal but my life has been drama free since I stopped going to Walgreens!!! You know, problem after problem, rude to me for using coupons and everyone making their own rules!!! I’m thinking about trying this, but i’m still unsure…My boyfriend prob won’t let me go back anyways….I’m much more calm and less of the B word since I’ve cut them out!!! Oh…I wish I didnt see this post!!!

The coupon that I just printed states that it is for — any one excedrin 20ct or larger product. So I am guessing that you can use it on the menstrual as well. And its also for $2.00

    Thanks

Also if any of you signed up for the free excedrin coupon offer a week or so ago, the coupons are starting to arrivein the mail which makes this an even better deal : )

I looked at another site that has a scan of the upcoming ad. All I saw was the excedrin 2/$5 no mention of any RR. Did I miss it somewhere???

The RR deal is a monthly deal that isn’t published in an ad but has been confirmed to be working.

Jessica, you can check out sites like SlickDeals.net for upcoming ad scans.
