Shabby Apple Black RosetteShabby Apple Midnight Garden
You’re sure to find a figure-flattering and occasion-appropriate dress on Shabby Apple.com. I don’t know about you, but I’m always wary of ordering clothing online. Not so with Shabby Apple’s Fit to Flatter. I love that they have a large variety of styles, and they will help you choose the perfect one just by answering three simple questions that will help identify the most appropriate style for your shape.

Shabby Apple also delivers Couture with a Conscience. They donate 5% of their net profits to providing micro-credit loans to women in developing countries. If you can swing it, please consider donating an additional $5 at checkout. They’ve almost reached their goal of helping 500 women this year!

More About Shabby Apple
After years of not being able to find stylish dresses that covered enough skin to make you really feel comfortable (without wearing a tank top, cardigan or long slip), owners Emily and CK decided to do something about it. Shabby Apple is proud to offer you fantastic dresses that allow you to look fabulous without having to compromise anything else.

I check the ads in the paper, then go online & search. If I can get free shipping or rebate (such as with Bing), I shop online. It all depends on what or who I am shopping for as to how I approach shopping.

I always shop clearance and sales racks and usually buy my clothes out of season and just save for the next year.

I shop at the end of the season for super clearance prices, both on-line and in discount stores like Ross and TJMaxx. I’m signed up on email lists to get notification of clearance sales. Stores like Old Navy and Kohls have great coupons. I shop for traditional clothing that won’t go out of style and choose basic colors so that pieces can easily go together if they are from different stores/labels. There are great deals on nice items, often brand new, at Goodwill, Salvation Army, and other second-hand shops.

Buying off season is the way to go for me. I can get good basic that will last me for a while instead of always buying the latest trends.

I shop the clearance at Macy’s. When they have an extra forty, or fifty percent off the already mark down price, you can get some really good deals.

For myself I love shopping at Super Target on their clearance racks. I may not be the stylish mommy, but I’m usually pretty comfy. I spend the most time searching for deals for my daughters. Their sizes are easy to predict so I always by the next size for next year. My 2 yr old and 8 yr old already have all if their summer clothes for next year. I also LOVE when Old Navy has the additional 50% off their clearance. I always stock up then. Usually buying 1-2 sizes up.

I shop at thrift stores, consignment shops, and garage sales. I also check out the clearance racks and coupons at the end of a season.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
