November 28, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski

Come browse the 12 Days of Christmas Holiday Gift Guide for unique gifts from mompreneurs, inventors, artists and companies that give back. With more than 70 exclusive coupon codes, you’re sure to find something for everyone on your list!

Shabby Apple Black RosetteShabby Apple Midnight Garden
You’re sure to find a figure-flattering and occasion-appropriate dress on Shabby Apple.com. I don’t know about you, but I’m always wary of ordering clothing online. Not so with Shabby Apple’s Fit to Flatter. I love that they have a large variety of styles, and they will help you choose the perfect one just by answering three simple questions that will help identify the most appropriate style for your shape.

Shabby Apple also delivers Couture with a Conscience. They donate 5% of their net profits to providing micro-credit loans to women in developing countries. If you can swing it, please consider donating an additional $5 at checkout. They’ve almost reached their goal of helping 500 women this year!

More About Shabby Apple
After years of not being able to find stylish dresses that covered enough skin to make you really feel comfortable (without wearing a tank top, cardigan or long slip), owners Emily and CK decided to do something about it. Shabby Apple is proud to offer you fantastic dresses that allow you to look fabulous without having to compromise anything else.

My best tip for finding reasonable clothes is to wait it out. I always see the new and cute clothing and want it so bad but when I just wait a few weeks I always end up scoring it for a very reasonable price.

My tip for finding fashionable clothes without breaking the bank is to hit the major department stores at the mall during the last few days of the month. They usually have huge discounts on their clothing that is already marked on clearance. You can save 80% sometimes on name brand – high end clothes, purses and shoes. It works for me.

I get all my clothes at garage sales! You can get things that are brand new or like new at great prices!

I have tried really to just not buy clothes, so that when I do need to, I can spend a little more. Also, using this site, coupons, and off season shopping helps! And borrowing and sharing with girlfriends too.

I am a garage sale fanatic! To save time, I only go to the wealthy neighborhoods in the area. On occasion, I will find a gold mine with designer clothes are rock bottom prices. [email protected]

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
