12 Days of Christmas Giveaway: Lora Elizabeth Stamped Flower Power Necklace

November 29, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski

Come browse the 12 Days of Christmas Holiday Gift Guide for unique gifts from mompreneurs, inventors, artists and companies that give back. With more than 70 exclusive coupon codes, you’re sure to find something for everyone on your list!

Lora Elizabeth Flower Power NecklaceLora Elizabeth Stamped Jewelry Flower Power Stamped Necklace
The Flower Power Necklace from Lora Elizabeth is the perfect gift for a young girl. I have a bit of a thing for hand-stamped jewelry, and I love the aged look of this piece paired with the small pearl dangle. My five-year-old daughter just oohed and ahhed over it and immediately requested that I put it on her. Of course then my 3-year-old daughter was devastated that I didn’t have one for her as well, so keep that in mind if you have several girls.

Lora Elizabeth has more to offer than just girls’ necklaces though. With gifts appropriate for moms, grandmas, dads, and grandpas, you may be able to complete a good portion of your shopping list right on her site.

More About Lora Elizabeth Stamped Jewelry
Lora Elizabeth Bonham creates jewelry from the heart. Made from sterling-silver, genunine leather and pure swarovski crystals, many pieces are hand-cut, filed, stamped, oxidized and polished. Order by 12/12 for Christmas delivery!

The most meaningful gift I ever got was a small, carved wooden turtle my dad bought me at the 1984 World’s Fair in New Orleans. I was sick that day and he carried me around the grounds and when we stopped for a break, he went in a store and came out with this adorable Chinese turtle. It sits on my dresser today.

My dad made a doll house for me when I was little girl. He decorated the bedroom with the same wallpaper that was in my bedroom. It has a front porch with spindles and a railing. There is an upstairs and downstairs. He handmade furniture to go inside. My mom made bedding to go on the furniture. Even though he made it in our basement, I didn’t realize it, and it was a surprise on Christmas. My dad died in October, and my brother is revitalizing the house for my daughter for Christmas this year. She’ll love her present from Papa, and I’ll love the beautiful reminders of him everytime we play with it.

I received a new outfit from my mom. It was a total surprise. I came home from school and it was on my bed. I couldn’t figure out how my mom put it there because she was at work all day.

I would have to say my 1st dog. I was given her in a toybox for my 1st Christmas. She lived to be 15.

My mom waited in line forever to get me a Cabbage Patch doll when they first came out. They were limited to 2 dolls and they just handed you whatever 2 dolls they wanted. I ended up with a red-haired boy named Gunther Ezra. I still have him. At the time I don’t think I realized the sacrifice my Mom made but as I’ve grown up I certainly do. Now that I have children of my own I’m sure I would do the same thing for them!

The childhood gift that made the most impression on me was a wooden dollhouse handmade for me…with elaborate details like fabric drapes on the windows, upholstery on the handmade couches, handdrawn details on the kitchen appliances, the works!! I LOVED that dollhouse and played with it for years. The house itself is in sad shape these days, but we have it in our attic waiting for my husband and I to recreate for our future daughter and fill with all the packed away furniture which is still mostly all in great shape.

The gift that made my 13 year-old self cry was an alarm clock/radio/phone. Tears of joy! Seems so silly now, but I thought it was SOMETHIN’ then!

I always wanted a pony as a kid…I never got it. But one year I did get a box with a My Little Pony complete with real hay and a handwritten note from Santa on why I didn’t get a pony. Santa’s handwriting looked just like my Grandma’s and it was a rather creative gift on her part. :)

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
