Dana Blair Designs offers a wide selection of handmade jewelry, so there’s sure to be something that will appeal to that someone special. My personal favorites are the Gemstone Circle Pendants. Featuring a variety of gemstones in either 14K gold-filled or sterling silver settings, these pendants are an excellent choice when you’re looking for that simple yet elegant touch to finish off an outfit.

If you’re unsure which stone to choose for a gift, check out Dana’s Stone Descriptions page. It details the colors of each stone along with any healing properties and symbolization it may embody. Or choose a gift certificate to allow your recipient to select an item that she’s sure to love.

Since 2002, designer Dana Blair has been hand-making each original piece of jewelry in her collection. Every piece of jewelry is designed with the ideas of individuality, lightness and distinction as its main focus. Each piece is created for functionality with each individual wearer in mind.

Garnets are my favorite because I grew up vacationing at Garnet Lake in upstate NY where they mined garnets and then used them as part of the dirt on the unpaved roads. We would always collect the garnets in cups.

So now for the comment to tell you WHY I love Lapis – It’s supposed to aid in one’s understanding of oneself. It’s believed by some that Lapis is difficult for many people to wear because it makes you see yourself as you truly are, clearing away self-delusions. I also love it because it’s a dark, mysterious stone and those glittery flecks of pyrite give it the “royal” feel that I’m sure made it so attractive to ancient people.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
