$1 Old Navy Cozy Socks Saturday + 30% off Single Item Coupon

December 14, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 55 Comments

$1 Old Navy Cozy Socks Sale
Here’s the latest on this week’s Old Navy One Day Wonder — all U.S. and Canadian stores will be offering $1 Cozy Socks (limit 5) this Saturday, 12/19! I don’t have a source link directly on Old Navy, but I did verify this with them via my M80 Newsroom contact. (Thanks, Fabulessly Frugal!)

We had some ultra-helpful women that shared tips for buying ahead of time and getting a price adjustment done on the $5 fleece jackets post last week:

  • You have 14 days from the date of purchase to have a one-time price adjustment made.
  • Yes, you can absolutely buy these items ahead of time and have them price adjusted on the day of the sale.
  • Company policy prohibits the use of coupons when doing a price adjustment, so if you have a coupon, use it on your initial purchase.

There is a new 30% off any single Old Navy Item coupon available that is good through 12/19. Yes, it looks a little odd, but I’ve verified its validity with Old Navy as well. (Thanks, MoJo Savings!)

Don’t forget to check out the coupons here and here for additional savings!

Do Oldnavy employees mind doing separate transactions ? I want to use the 30% off on each pair but I don’t want to go at intervals or every day. Also will old navy still do a price adjustment if you used a coupon on the purchase?

Hi Nikki, this same coupon was in the newspaper with the same strange shape – it looks like it was cut out wrong, but that is just how they printed it. Happy shopping!

Yes, just as Jessie said, if you saved last weeks newspaper, you will find the 30% coupon in their ad.

I went Saturday for the fleece and they were completely out. I might purchase the socks tomorrow and then do the price adjustment instead of waiting until Saturday. Thanks!

I work part time at Old navy, and employees generally don’t mind doing price adjustments. But to be honest with you, on the last Saturday before Christmas holding up the line doing seperate transactions to save 30cents per pair of socks will be irritating. We understand the reasoning behind doing it on other items, and I have had people do many transactions seperately and have never had an issue with it, but on a $1 item???

Melanie @ … you saw that you have 14 days to get the price adjustment, right? If you bought them last week, wouldn’t that still be w/in the 14 days?
Thanks for the tip JennyD. Hoping to find a snowsuit for my 2yo, but I coat would work, too.

Have to agree w/Annon on this one.. I worked for Gap for 6 years (same computers) and they aren’t the easiest computers to ring up several transactions on , quickly.

Just print out a 15% off coupon and use on the whole total. You’ll get 5 pairs for $4.25, only .75 more. Save your 30% coupons for something worth using it on :)

So let me see if I got this right…if I buy a pair BEFORE Saturday @ $3.5o, use the 30% off coupon, pay $2.45. Then go back on Saturday and get it price adjusted to $1.00 still with the 30%, then I should get back $1.75?? Did I do that right?

    $2.45 – $1.75 = $.70 + tax

    Right??

Thanks for the heads up on the socks, I went last Friday and got me Three of the fleece jackets, and then went back Saturday night and got a price adjustment. I was able to get my size and the colors I wanted by going early. Again thanks ladies.

Leah: Correct, if you chose to use your 30% off coupon on a pair of socks.

Otherwise, you can save it for something higher priced, and print out the 15% coupon to use on the socks.

The socks I bought last night are womens socks… but to be honest, I didn’t look in the kids section… so they might be there as well.
I bought them early to make sure they had the ones I wanted :) While I was in line I set the alarm on my phone to remind me to come back and to the adjustment, cause I’m just that forgetful!
THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP ON THIS DEAL!!! Super Duper stocking stuffer!!

This is very tempting as my toes are currently freezing but I have to say that I will never again shop at Old Navy after the $1 flip flop sale this summer. Of course it was a mad house but no big deal, I expected that. I know that there was a 5 per person limit. So my daughters each picked 3 pairs and I picked 3 and we all went up with our money and the cashier and her supervisor said, and I quote, “they don’t count as people” because they were under 15 (13? 18? regardless) or something. If my children don’t count as people then my money can go to a store where they do count. Even if that means paying full price.

It probably shouldn’t have been worded in that way, but in order to prevent one family from coming in to wipe out all the product when a deal is offered, they often limit it by family. Obviously not the case with adult siblings shopping together, but for minors with their parents there have been times when we have to limit it. I know for black friday Rock Band promos people showed up in a car with 3 or 4 of their kids to get multiple copies and were only allowed one…unless the kids were 16 or older.

They likely meant separate people…not people in general.

During the dollar scarf deal i had one woman come in and try to buy like 30 of them and I wouldn’t let her, even if she left and came back. How frustrated would it be to drive somewhere to try and get in on a deal and have the shelves wiped clean by one person (not saying you were doing that, but explaining the logic behind the rules)

Click on the present under “December 14”- go to the tab marked “girls” and click on the little penquin slippers and the coupon will pop up.

I went last friday and bought a fleece and went back on sat. for the price adjustment, but it was the wrong fleece. I don’t know if they had the one day wonder fleeces out yet…How can you tell which are the sale items, and do are they specially stocked items or already on the shelf?

i cut the coupon out of the sunday paper and used it for the fleece blankets that are on sale right now for $ 5.00 (1/2 off of $10.00) and only paid $ 3.50.

then printed out the coupon from the above post and used it to purchase a tin candle that are on sale right now for $ 2.50 ( 1/2 off of $ 5.00 ) and only paid $ 1.92. no problems with the print out…

will be heading back to see what other goodies i can get for the last minute gifts that always seem to pop up…
