A healthy snack that I have really come to enjoy is to cut up an apple and toss in some blueberries and walnuts and then sweeten it up a bit by adding a sprinkle of Ghiradelli semi-sweet chocolate chips. Sometimes I’ll use blackberries and pecans instead of the blueberries and walnuts. You can actually get quite creative with whatever you have on hand. It is such a refreshing healthy snack that I never seem to tire of.
The KIND healthy snacks would be a great addition to add to the applies or other fresh fruit…

I’m a big fan of the Heart Thrive apricot energy bars. They’re vegan, low glycemic, low sodium and also nutritionally dense. I’m also a big fan of the classic apples and peanut butter.
