I mentioned last week how excited my 3-year-old daughter was for the remastered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to come out, and she was not one bit disappointed. I think we watched it 4 times the first day and at least once a day every day since. I loved watching her take such delight in a movie that I loved as a child, and I even noticed a few things that were new to me — like the fact that Snow White is wearing clogs at the beginning!
I’m also thrilled that Disney is offering the dual DVD/Blu-ray combination pack. I recently cashed in my Swag Bucks for a Playstation 3 so we now have the ability to view Blu-ray movies in our living room, but we still have the DVD edition that we can pop in the DVD player in our car for those long trips.
I’ve got a special treat for all of you Snow White and/or Disney fans out there!
One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Snow White Limited Edition Collector’s Set, valued at $190, which includes:

- The Making of a Masterpiece collector’s book

“Aladdin” was big in my life, I still watch it monthly. I love the middle eastern inspired music, and it is one of the last great Disney films before they got with Pixar… 2D animation! Unheard of these days.

Snow White is actually my fav! I have all kinds of snow white jewelery boxes, bird feeder, figurines. I have always gravitated towards horror movies since I was little. And if you think about it Snow White is a little horrifying in the beginning. The evil queen wanted her henchman to take her into the woods, kill her, cut out her heart, and bring it back in a box. That’s pretty gross for a Disney movie!

I love Lady and the Tramp. I also loved That Darn Cat! Own them both and watch with neice and nephew.

My favorite Disney movie IS Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I saw it for the first time in the late 1950’s at Radio City Music Hall. It was my favorite because the other Diney Princesses at that time were blondes- Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. I had dark brown hair so she was my pricess!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has ALWAYS been my favorite Disney movie of animation. (The Parent Trap was my non-animation type favorite). I do remember going to the Capitol Theater to see Snow White. Remembering it now brings back such a good feeling. The screen seemed so big and all of the characters were just so life like! Thanks for the chance to regress back to childhood from over 50 years ago.

Ireally loved Pinoccchio. I remember watching it as a little girl in the late 70’s. For a while after I had watched it I was terrifed to tell a lie, I was so afraid my nose would grow.
