FREE iTunes Music
What do you say to loading up your iPod with FREE and, more importantly, legal music? Sounds like a bargain to me!

:: Get a free 20 song iTunes Indie Spotlight sampler when you become a fan of iTunes on Facebook!
(Thanks, Mommy's Wish List!)

:: Last.FM is currently offering over 250 FREE MP3 downloads from a variety of genres!
(Thanks, Freebie Blogger!)

Other music available:

Have you found any other good resources for free (and of course legal) music?

Starbucks - every tuesday they release a new iTunes song to download. Just like the above, they are usually groups you've never heard of or could care about, but free downloads are free downloads. To get the song, you have to visit a store - either inside ordrive thru - and get a "song of the week" card, which are usually right by the register. They are free and while you don't technically have to buy anything, it is Starbucks so you may have to wait in a line or being at the store may prove too tempting. Each song card has a unique download code which is redeemed the same way as a gift card. While you're there, as a barista (employee) if they have any from the previous weeks - sometimes they will. Happy downloading!

Hey Tara, thanks for the linky love! Your readers can also get a free legal song download every day from AND, Amazon usually has a free song download every day on their homepage, in addition to over 500 free songs you can download all on one big ol' page (just search for "free song downloads" in the MP3 section of Amazon) And, don't forget that iTunes gives you a free song to download every week. I track free music and usually post where to get it around 8:30 pm on my site most nights.
