Ladies Who Lunch Giveaway: Mario Batali or Elle Lunch Bag

by Tara Kuczykowski on December 3, 2008 · 946 comments

Elle Christy Lunch BagIn my post the other day on seven easy ways to cut $1 or more out of your daily budget, I mentioned that packing your lunch on a daily basis is an excellent way to make huge impact on your budget. Brown-bagging it can get old and boring quickly though . . . until now.

Cosmoda sent me this adorable Elle Christy Lunch Bag, and it almost makes me wish I had an office job again just to be able to carry my lunch back and forth in it! I was surprised at how nice the quality is, and you'd totally never even guess it's a lunch bag until you unzip it and see the insulated material inside. Both the interior and exterior wipe clean easily, and did I mention just how gosh darn cute it is?!?

Cosmoda wants to help you save money by packing your lunch and still look chic while doing it, so they've given me three adorable lunch bags to give away to three lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers!

Would you like to win one of these fabulous lunch bags? Just leave a comment telling me what your favorite well-rounded lunch is that you'd pack!

Every reader has three methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, or three for up to a total of 3 entries!!!

1. Leave a comment sharing what lunch you'd pack in this sweet little lunch bag!

2. Subscribe to my feed via RSS or email and leave a separate comment letting me know you have done so. If you’re already a subscriber, simply leave a separate comment letting me know you’re already subscribed. Lovin’ my subscribers! You guys make this all possible.

3. Spread the word about this contest in some manner and come back and leave a link in a separate comment. If you have a blog, you can blog about it. But if you don’t have a blog, you’re not at a disadvantage. You could review and Stumble it. You could Twitter it. (Use hashtag #lunchbags, please.) You could post about it in a forum. Use your imagination!

It is important that you leave a separate comment for each type of entry because each comment is equal to one entry. Sorry to harp on this, but it really is that important to tally and select the winner easily, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me simplify the process!

Prize:
1 of 3 Mario Batali or Elle Lunch Bags (ARV $20-$30)

This giveaway ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sunday, December 7th. I’ll use Random.org to generate a number that corresponds with the winning comment number and post the winner on Monday, December 8th. Good luck!

While you’re in a contest entering mood, don’t forget to check out the Giveaway Gathering for a variety of contests being hosted on Deal Seeking Mom readers’ blogs!

How cute is that Elle?
I'm a pretty standard lunch packer, PBJ or turkey sandwich, with other goodies thrown in.

I love the bags, I would of never know about them. It would be a great gift to me, since my husband and I are not giving gifts for each other this year. Also my birthday is next week, what a bonus this would be.

Great giveaway! We take our lunch everyday to work, so one of these lunch bags would be really great! Much better than recycling grocery sacks:) Lunch typically includes a turkey sandwich, baby carrots, a piece of fresh fruit, and pretzels! I also try to pack a couple snacks like nuts or yogurt to ward off the pesky hunger cravings!

I love taking my lunch to work now, to save money, I love making chicken wrap, leftover whole chicken from the night before, with string cheese and cut up fruit or mini muffins. It would be cute to take in these wonderful bags!!

My well rounded lunch usually consists of very low sodium canned tuna (chunk light in water) on top of romaine lettuce. Instead of dressing, I usually top it with lowfat or fat free cottage cheese and fat free mozzerella cheese. Then I also throw in an apple or banana, and usually a mini candy bar for my sweet tooth. Yes, it takes time to pack it all, but it's yummy and healthy!

Oh! Be still my beating heart! I love, love, love all those bags...although I think I'm gonna pick the stripey one (I'd not turn up my nose at any of them, they rock!)

My favorite lunch is grilled chicken salad on baby spinach. Or I might make one of those fruity chicken salads to put in it...the yummy kind with grapes and walnuts, not the yucky mayo-y chicken salad.

Anyway, I'm a schoolteacher and bringing a lunch is a must...it's that or eating sloppy joes or meatloaf from the ...cafeteria!

What a cool giveaway!

Well I work 12 hour night shift so sometimes I dont want a full meal and I will pack a container of milk and one of cereal and pack some fruit. But sometimes I will pack soup, like campbells select harvest, and I can eat that for 2 days with fruit, cheese stick, yogurt. I always pack!
