There's no doubt that being a mom is a hard job – the hardest job there is! And while the rewards are absolutely worth it, I've teamed up with Jamie from Circle of Sentiments to offer you something a little more tangible this week!
Isn't this necklace that she created for me gorgeous? I opted to go with the first initials for all of my kids since some of the longer names wouldn't fit on the small size discs that I selected. I was a little skeptical of how the finished product would turn out with so many discs, but I absolutely LOVE it.
I'm so impressed with the quality and craftmanship, and when I wore my necklace to Blogher, and I received dozens of compliments on it while I was there. It's quickly become one of my favorite accessories, and I always wear it when I travel as a reminder of my kiddos.
One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a custom necklace with up to two discs from Jamie's Signature Collection, valued at $65!
To enter, simply leave a comment and tell me about your most rewarding moment as a mother.
Jamie is also offering Deal Seeking Mom readers 20% off their Circle of Sentiments' orders using coupon code dsm at checkout. Be sure to check out all of her beautiful collections to take advantage of this offer!

I love hearing my kids say "I love you"- my husband too for that matter!
I subscribe to your feed, too.
I guess my most rewarding moments were when I was nursing my children and was giving them something that no one else could give them...."their own custom formula".
I subscribe via google reader!
When you come home from work or anywhere and the kids yell "Mommy" and come running to see you with big smiles on their faces.
My most rewarding moment is when they do something without having to be asked or reminded. Just little things like holding the door for someone, letting someone younger or a guest go first, clearing the table without being asked. The little things that reinforce that what my words and what I do does make a difference.
There are so many moments! Honestly though, it's seeing my dad in my son's eyes. I lost my father when I was pregnant and whenever I need a reminder of the kindness in my father's eyes, I only need to look at my beautiful boy.
I subscribe to your emails--I love getting messages with great deals!
I just had my first child and her smile as she looks up at me just melts my heart!
The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing my children have a desire to live for the Lord.
The one thing that is the most rewarding is watching my two girls care for their younger brother. To hear how they've picked up my phrases is hilarious! They are the two most loving sisters he could ever have!
I'm not a mom yet, but I love my mom dearly and for her, I think it's rewarding that we're all friends on some level. We share with her and that's great...we're very close. I hope to have that when I do have children too.
LOVE, LOVE these necklaces!!! Even if I don't win I think I will have to get one for my Mom ;)
I have so many rewarding moment's as a Mom, but I am most rewarded as I look back at the thing's I learned from my Mom as I raise my own kid's. Just the full appreciation of Motherhood and all the joy's that come with it!
I just had my 3rd boy last Wednesday! The biggest blessing as a mom is getting to watch them grow and discover new things everyday!
An unprompted "thank you Mommy" melts my heart every time.
Of course I'm a subscriber!
My favorite moment as a mom? There are so many! Holding my son for the first time. When he wants to snuggle with me before getting into bed. A couple days ago when he 'read' (he had the books memorized) four different books to me. When he knows all his colors, knowing I taught him that. Even when he just smiles at me...so pretty much every moment.
Also, I subscribe to the emails, I love them!

My favorite Mom moments... are those "stop and wish I could remember this moment forever" moments. I love the little things...that really ARE the big things. I just wish it wasn't all going by so fast!! awesome giveaway!!
The most memorable things I have as a Mother is time.
I have all these memories in my "brain rolodex" of funny, sad, inspiring, milestones, hilarious moments....I am so beyond grateful to my kids for giving me these. It's an ongoing gift & they don't even know there giving it.
My 2nd entry; I get the e-mails!!!
((((good vibes)))

What I love about being a mother is the love that you have for your child is so strong and when they accomplish something or tell you that they love you, makes me so happy.
The most rewarding thing as a mother is when my two young children give me a big hug and kiss and tell me they love me! Melts my heart every time! Best feeling in the world!
One of the most rewarding things for me as a mother is to watch my children when they don't know I am watching (at Sunday School, playing with a friend, etc) and seeing how well behaved and polite they really are. It makes me feel like I've done something right along the way ;-) And, of course, when my almost 3 year old tells me "I wub you".....melts my heart every time.

When my daughter was giving birth and got to cut the umbilical cord. This is one of of my greatest mom moments.
We're getting to the point where my daughter is caring about how others feel and what they're doing (she'll turn 3 in Oct). It's so fun to experience that little person developing.
I'm a happy subscriber!

Getting hugs and kisses from him. I love that he likes to love on me so much.

There are so many rewarding moments, when my 10year old notices that I'm stressed and hugs me to make me feel better and tells me he loves me. When my soon-to-be 5 year old runs to me with the biggest smile on his face to kiss me and tells me he loves me. One that always gets my heart is when my boys are "hanging" out together and tell each other that they love each other.
I am a single mom, so when I had bronchitis....my 7-year old took care of me. That was the sweetest thing ever!

Recently, we visited my bro-in-law's family for an entire weekend. I sent a note thanking my brother's mother-in-law for her efforts. She starting gushing about how well behaved my kids were and how that's a reflection on their parents. I was so proud!
The first day my son experienced "stranger anxiety" and cried for his mommy! It made me secretly happy! :)
I AM ALREADY A SUBSCRIBER. THANKS
I SIMPLY LOVE WHEN THEY SAY I LOVE YOU ON THEIR OWN. FOR INSTANCE RIGHT NOW THEY WENT TO VISIT THEIR GRANDPARENTS IN ANOTHER STATE AND MYSELF AND THEIR FATHER ARE STILL WORKING. AND THEY CALLED WHEN THEY GOT THERE THE OTHER DAY & SAID I MISS YOU ALREADY OK MOM WE HAVE TO GO PLAY NOW LOVE YOU. AND IT WAS JUST SO HEARTWARMING. AND I FELT SO APPRECIATED & LOVED.
my most rewarding moments were nursing my children and when they first said MAMA
I subscribe to your email and absolutely love your necklace!
Such a cute necklace.
so pretty!!
I have a pink journal that I keep all the funny things that my kids say and do. On rough days I can pull that out and relive those moments with a smile. They make me laugh in spite of all the hard work too. That's a gift they give me that they don't even work to provide.
Rewarding to me is when my kids show compassion to others.
I subscribe to your blog with google reader
One of my most momentus moments as a mom was when my oldest daughter (who is 20 now) came to the realization that her actions really did affect me and her family members. Since then, she has been really thoughtful of others and their feelings.
