We always seem to run out of propane right in the middle of a family cookout every summer, so I’m going to take advantage of this $3 off Blue Rhino rebate and purchase an extra tank to keep on hand. Expires 12/31/09.
$3 isn’t a bad incentive! Of course not having to finish off half-grilled hamburgers in the microwave is an even better incentive.
Also, if you’re planning to move soon, you can get even greater savings with this $20 off Blue Rhino rebate! Expires 12/31/10.

I think the $20 rebate form states the tank has to be purchased from Lowe’s – you can use the 10% Lowe’s coupon in the movers packet available at most post office’s though

Awesome! I also just posted a link to Amerigas propane rebates: https://mamasmoneysavers.com/2009/05/amerigas-propane-rebate.html

does anyone know how i can print this form without using all that blue ink?
Tara Kuczykowski
Leah, you can go into the print setting for your printer and change it to print in draft mode and/or black and white. It shouldn’t matter if it’s not color for a rebate.

The Blue Rhino rebate coupon states that the “original proof of purchase from package” is one of the rebate requirements. I have found no UPC Code anywhere on the tank or Blue Rhino tank label. What does this requirment mean?
Mark
Same here. Checked everywhere on the tank, but no proof of purchase, no UPC, only a notice that says “do not remove this information from the tank” referring to the plastic sleeve. Checked the bottom, top, tab on the valve. Anyone know where to find this?
Renee
Same problem here too – cannot find the proof of purchase from the package (ie. the tank itself) — please help and post an answer if anyone knows. Thanks!

I qualified for the $20 rebate and the company wouldn’t honor it. I kept copies of everything and even contacted the company when I met every single criteria for the $20 rebate. The representative (Karen Shusford) responded by saying that the company doesn’t promise a $20 rebate!! Very dishonest!

Seems like a Blue Rhino scam. They probably haven’t given out any $3 mail-in rebates.

I have not yet looked myself, but in an effort to also locate the proof of purchase needed for the $3 Blue Rhino rebate, I looked on their website and found this:
“The Proof of Purchase can be found on the Blue Rhino package, to the left of the Blue Rhino logo along the bottom. Simply cut it out along the dotted line as shown and include it with your submission. Be sure to retain the rest of the package, as it provides valuable safety information.” They then show an image of what the proof of purchase looks like. Our propane tank is already installed, so I have not yet attempted to locate the POP, but I wanted to share while it was fresh on my mind and my pc :). I hope this helps!

I found the upc code to the left of the LOGO . Thanks
