    I had never heard of VSP and was interested. I wear glasses and even with our insurance, my glasses and exams are not always covered. I’m going to talk with my husband about whether or not he thinks this would be valuable for us.

    I learned that by having an annual eye exam, the doctor is able to check for more than just the health of your eyes! They are also able to check for diabetes and high cholesterol.

    Since I am always on the PC, I found this interesting – Every 20 minutes on the computer, stare at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds….

    I learned that the doctor can see signs of diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol by looking at the blood vessels in your eyes. Who knew that your eyes could tell them so much.
