    In the winter, I love to use beans for soups and casseroles. In the summer, cold bean dishes are great – especially my black bean salsa! :)

    Tortilla pizzas – tortillas as crust, topped with black beans, salsa, tomatoes, olives, cheese, peppers, onions, and whatever else we happen to have.

    I open can of ready to eat black beans. Heat on stove and serve over white rice. Hope to learn to do more than just heat up a can.

    I like to cook my beans the southern way, with spicy sausage and garlic and onions and celery, all slow simmered until the beans are soft and tender. Then serve it over rice with biscuits or rolls.
