My four-year-old daughter took one look at the sparkly and colorful cover of Shoe-La-La! and proclaimed that we must sit down and read it immediately — we’ve now read it 462 times in the past two days…

Well, maybe that’s exaggerating a little, but she adored it from the start, and she’s probably asked me to read it at least that many times! That said, it really is a great children’s book, and I love that it inspires kids to get creative and think outside of the box.

Meet four girls who love shoes: SHOE-LA-LA!

“Shoes with zippers, Shoes with straps, Shoes with buckles, Shoes with taps”.

Prance from page to page in search of the perfect pair of party shoes. Girls of all ages will love to go on a shoe shopping expedition with these four friends, from “fuzzy boots for when it snows” to “ballerinas on our toes.” The girls try on every shoe in the store, but “eeny, meeny, my, oh, my [they] just don’t know which shoes to buy.” With some feathers and glitter, a little bit of glue, and a LOT of imagination, the girls come up with the best shoes of all!

    my favorite shoes are my black dress sandals. They have a sliver like buckle right below the toes on the side. They are the perfect heal height and are comfy

    O O O MY can’t just pick one…so will pick one from a couple categories. :) I live in Florida and mostly wear flips…love them. My fave are about 5 years old. Thick wedge about 4 inches BRIGHT Yellow…Lemon Yellow with a Huge puffy bright yellow sunflower in the center of the toe area. LOVE them.
    For Dressy, I hardly wear. These are BEE U TEE FUL! They are 10 years old and I waited 2 months for them to get reduced down to $40 at Ross…they cost serveral 100’s at retail they are low heel slip on, no back but cover toe… trimmed in a gold braid..and seed pearls sewed over the entire foot toe area. LOVE them.
    My 25 year old stand by’s Black Military style lace up Doc Martens…a Christmas gift to me…still have and still love them…great to wear with my tights and babydoll dresses.
    Finally, lots of clogs…LOVE them too. Have some that are now very old…past vintage almost antique. hahahah.

    My favorite pair of shoes currently are my puma sneakers. they’re casual, but comfortable and just look stylish!

    My favorite shoes are my big brown Skechers, lace up oxfords that make me about 1.5 inches taller with a very thick sole. I’ve worn them to death and need to replace them!
