The makers of Ice Age have a new animated 3D movie opening this Friday, April 15th with 20th Century Fox. Rio is the story of a blue Macaw, Blu, who never learned to fly. He lives with his owner, Linda, in small town Minnesota, but when they learn he’s the last male of his kind, they head to Rio de Janeiro to see if they can’t help repopulate with Blue’s female counterpart, Jewel, who is there. When Blu and Jewel are kidnapped by animal smugglers, they escape and are now on the run trying to keep the kidnappers at bay and get back to Blu’s best friend Linda.

Get geared up for this cute story with some adorable coloring pages for the kids of Blu and Jewel, and you can also grab pages of the friends they meet who help them along the way as they try to thwart the kidnappers and their band of hired monkeys: Luiz, Rafael, Nico and Pedro.

    Me and my family loved all three. The first was really good and the second. When Dawn of the Dinosaurs came out we didn’t think it would compare to the others. But they delivered and it was just as cute as the rest.

    Kids are really looking forward to Rio. We’ve seen some previews and they love the music in the movie. Can’t wait.

    My family’s favorite Ice Age movie is the first one. We love Scrat, the squirrel, how he’s always losing his acorn and just trying to bury it some where! :)
