Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday, with 24-hour giveaways just for you!
With school starting soon, the paper monster will be here in full force before you can say “Don’t forget your lunch” and kiss the kids as they run out the door. Keep everything from newsletters to receipts to bills in order and under control with the NeatDesk from Neat. No more shuffling papers or investing money and space into large filing cabinets. NeatDesk helps you stay organized and manage the clutter by scanning your important papers into virtual file folders.
It’s quite easy to pick out what my biggest challenge in keeping a neat and tidy office is — paper clutter, and lots of it. From five kids’ worth of tests, artwork and calendar reminders to business contracts and receipts and business cards from the last three blogging conferences I’ve attend, you’ll find quite a variety. And that’s not even touching on one of the biggest culprits — my tear file of recipes, decorating ideas, and other articles from all of my favorite magazines.
I have to say that I was rather skeptical about whether one paper management system could tackle such a myriad of clutter, but the NeatDesk system managed to do it all! The NeatDesk scanner and NeatWorks software make scanning and organizing my paper clutter super simple by eliminating most of the data entry and creating searchable PDF files. It’s really nothing short of amazing, and while I still have a ways to go in completely decluttering my office, I’m confident that this system is THE ONE I’ve been searching for for so long.
In fact, the only drawback I’ve found is that the NeatDesk is a bit pricey at $399.99. They do offer the NeatReceipts product at a smaller price point of $199.99. You still get the awesome NeatWorks software, but the scanner is somewhat less sophisticated. I’d whole-heartedly recommend these products to parents though, as I’m sure we can all use a little extra assistance in the paper clutter department.

This would help so much at home (and at school – I’m a teacher). My office is for scrapbooking, couponing, storing out of season clothes and anything else that doesn’t have a place in our house. Getting rid of the paper clutter would help me reclaim this space!

I would use the NeatDesk to organize our childrens school and sport papers and pictures as well as our bills and event invitations. I am toting with the idea of a consulting business to be run from my home and NeatDesk would help me make space in our office, which is really just a desk in the corner of our family room!

The Neat Desk would absolutely help me organize all my bills and receipts. I tend to find a million and one receipts in drawers and even my purse. Thanks

It’s so cute and compact! It would actually fit on my tiny desk used for scrapbooking, couponing, crafting and more! I’d use it to scan all my receipts and bills I’ve neglected :)

I would love to clear off all of the bills and reciepts from my dining room table. Once that table is clear, then I could cook a nice dinner and use the table for its original purpose.

I would consolidate all of our children’s information, our business info, our personal info and get rid of the 4 (yes, four!) full-sized file cabinets that are taking up space in what I REALLY want to be our children’s playroom. I could make my home office fit in my little closet nook then too…no one will ever look for me there :)
Kandace
My desk is covered in paper. This would help to declutter and make a better space for me to scrapbook and do other fun stuff.
