Mr. Popper’s Penguins hits theaters on June 17th. Starring Jim Carey, Carla Gugino and Angela Lansbury, this lighthearted tale of a driven businessman, Mr. Popper (played by Jim Carrey), who inherits 6 penguins. His life is turned topsy-turvey as the penguins invade his condo and turn it into their winter wonderland playground and start getting him to ques what’s really important and what really matters in life. This charming movie based on the classic book is one that will be fun for the whole family.

    So, My little man is about to have a fit to see this movie… every time the preview comes on he stops dead in his tracks to watch it and starts walking like the penguins!!     Last movie we saw as a family (minus one camper) was Kung Fu Panda 2… we love seeing the cartoons or movie adaptations of comics as much as the kids do!

    Wow. I can’t remember the last time I saw a movie with children. Don’t think my husband counts. And my child is only 6 months old. The last children’s movie I saw in the theater was Monsters, Inc. … can you tell we don’t get out to see movies much?
