Mr. Popper’s Penguins hits theaters on June 17th. Starring Jim Carey, Carla Gugino and Angela Lansbury, this lighthearted tale of a driven businessman, Mr. Popper (played by Jim Carrey), who inherits 6 penguins. His life is turned topsy-turvey as the penguins invade his condo and turn it into their winter wonderland playground and start getting him to ques what’s really important and what really matters in life. This charming movie based on the classic book is one that will be fun for the whole family.

    I haven’t been to the movies in forever, I think Jurassic Park was my last theatre movie :-)

    We haven’t taken our kids to a movie yet because we have always had a baby, but the grandparents took our oldest 2 to see Tangled as a birthday treat.

    It is SO expensive to hit the movies, but we always do it for birthdays and our last one was Despicable Me!

    Movies are a special treat in our house because they’re so expensive! We took our daughter to see Tangled for her Christmas gift this year. :)

    The last movie we saw in a movie theater was Hop but we did watch Gnomeo and Juliet on dvd last week.

    I always take my niece to see the “kids” movies so I that I have someone to enjoy these good movies with…last movie was HOP. Looking forward to the return of the Smurfs too!
