Mr. Popper’s Penguins hits theaters on June 17th. Starring Jim Carey, Carla Gugino and Angela Lansbury, this lighthearted tale of a driven businessman, Mr. Popper (played by Jim Carrey), who inherits 6 penguins. His life is turned topsy-turvey as the penguins invade his condo and turn it into their winter wonderland playground and start getting him to ques what’s really important and what really matters in life. This charming movie based on the classic book is one that will be fun for the whole family.

    I don’t think I’ve been to see a movie with any kids since I was a kid myself!! The last movie I saw in the theaters at all was a Star Wars in 2005… :)

    We went to see Kung Fu Panda 2 for my son’s 3rd birthday. He absolutely loves going to the theater.

    I took my 7 year old and one year old to see Kung Fu Panda 2. Mr. Poppers Penguins is next on our list!

    We went to see Pirate of the Caribbean just two weeks ago. It was very expensive taking five people to a 3D movie but it was so worth it!

    We went to the midnight showing of Pirates of the Carribean. My husband makes a great Jack and our daughter had a Mermaid costume on. My son and I were just crazed fans!

    The last movie that I think I saw with children at the theater was The Incredibles! Yes, that long ago. Movies just aren’t in our budget. It would be nice to get to see one for free.
