We were too poor to celebrate our 5-year anniversary milestone in a big way, but my husband surprised me with a beautiful (and unexpected) anniversary band on our 6th anniversary. See, good things come to those who wait! It’s been 15 years and counting now. :)

My favorite piece of jewelry is my “mother’s necklace”. My husband gave it to me with our first daughter’s birthstone. When our second daughter was born, he secretly had her birthstone added. Now that I am pregnant with our third, I am hoping that a third birthstone can be added.

My most valued piece of jewelry would be a heart locket that I bought 20 years ago when I was 9 years old, after my father had been brutally murdered. I only had a few pictures of him so I took some money out of my bank & bought a silver heart locket from the dollar store. I did not know then that it was fake, I just wanted him near my heart. And yet 20 years later, I still wear the same heart locket, real or not. It has so much sentimental value it will not be replaced…♥

My husband took my diamond pendant and had a mother/child figure go around it and brought it to the hospital when our son was born.

My favorite pc of jewelry is my “right hand ring.” After a divorce, I had to go to school full time, work full time, and raise my kids on my own as my ex moved away. It signifies I will never need a left hand ring and I CAN do these things on my own =)

I also went and “liked” Hip Fusion Designs, as I was already your fan!

My most meaningful piece of jewelry is my earrings that have pearls shapes made out of the white roses on my grandmothers casket. I love them! They mean a lot to me and I will always think of her when I wear them!!

My most valuable piece would have to be my family ring. My husband & I only have one daughter, so a mother’s ring would only have a single stone, so I have a family ring with 3 stones; our daughters birthstone in the center and our on each side. It’s kind of fun when people who don’t know me think I have 3, and then I explain it and the go “oh, okay”. lol

My wedding band. It still reminds of how I felt that day.
