Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday, with 24-hour giveaways just for you!

If you’re like me, you noticed a few weeks ago that when the St. Patrick’s Day green was put away, the first thing to hit the stores was Little Debbie spring-themed snacks on the end caps of the aisles and at the registers. You can almost tell the season just by watching the Little Debbie selection at the store, something that hasn’t changed since I was a child.
Right now on Little Debbie’s Facebook page, you can enter to win their Million Smile Mission for a chance to win the grand prize of a 16′ Airstream Sport Trailer or one of several other prizes, including Kodak Slice Cameras, Kodak ESP 7250 Printers, digital picture frames, Little Debbie Prize Packs and more!
Ten lucky Deal Seeking Mom winners will each receive a Little Debbie prize pack that includes:
- 2 boxes of Cloud Cakes
- 2 boxes of Spring Snacks
To enter, tell me one memory involving snack cakes from when you were a kid or as an adult if you didn’t have them as a child. Did your mom pack them in your lunch box? Were they a special treat reserved for road trips? Did you eat your first snack cake in college when you were on your own?

I remember growing up and eating them like they were going out of style. My mom would give my brother and I a package to to share and then hide the box so we wouldnt eat all of them in one day! Now my family is on such a strict budget that my boys never get Little Debbies so it would be nice to win this one for a lovely treat for my boys!

My mom and I would always split a pack of peanut butter sticks. They still make me think of her every time I have one.

Bribing my brothers with Little Debbie snacks to do my chores are some of my fondest, yet almost criminal memories…hahaha
Becky
My brother and I would fight over the Christmas Tree cakes – they are still our favorites. Now as adults, I buy extra and freeze so I can have some in the spring and summer. So yummy.

we used to break any of the cakes open and eat the filling first when we were kids. Then we would eat the cake later or peel off the outside icing and eat it.

Back in the late 60s, I remember my first Little Debbie .It was the apple turnover, which BTW I haven’t seen in a long time.I was 6 or 7.I went for a ride with my Dad.He had to go to our local fire station for something. When we returned home my Mom had an apple little Debbie for me on the table.I remember saying ” Is that for me?”Like I wasn’t worthy. It was so wonderful with a glass of milk.I joke with my wife saying Little Debbie was ” My First Girl “

I’m not a mom, but my favorite Little Debbie memory is taking a box of several different LD treats with on my Spring Break 2011 road trip to Connecticut! My friends and I finished almost all of them during the 5 days and improvised Little Debbie snack cake milkshakes with the leftovers when we got back. You can still see pictures on Facebook of me with the treats in each of the states we drove through!

A memory of snack cakes is when I was a kid and ate Butterscotch Krumpets. I’d unwrap them from the bottom of the package, lay the pack upside down and gently lift the cake off of the wrapper leaving the icing behind. Then, after eating all the cake, I’d lick the icing off the wrapper. It was always a contest to see who was able to leave the most icing on the wrapper! A great memory. Thanks.
