Changing your oil at home may be frugal, but it can also be messy!

    My car manufacturer recommends I use the synthetic oils which cost more but it works out to be the same because I can then drive 5000 miles between changes.

    We change my husband and my car’s oil sporadically since we are on a limited budget. But we try to get it done atleast every 5000 miles.
