Spring is here and summer is on its way. For many of us with kids, that means an increase in activities and outings and crazy schedules. Lance Sandwich Crackers knows how crazy life can get for mom, so giving the Mom on the Run some easy ways to stay calm and cool during the busy summer season.

Items I like to keep on hand are sunscreen, bug repellent, snacks and bottles of water, a first aid kit, travel baby wipes and a few toys to help entertain my toddler. It’s been a real life saver!

    I always have a bag with me as my oldest’s mood seems to crash with his blood sugar. So it goes along with us everywhere in the car and he knows where it is.

    I always have a bag in the car, but lately I seem to need one the most at Drs appointments. The appointment is usually for only one child which leaves the other one just along for the ride.

    Ahh, I used to be so good about having things with me when I had a diaper bag … now that we can go diaperless I’m never prepared. Whether it’s taking the older to soccer, the younger to ballet, being out a little later than I thought, or getting to the gym with them a little too close to snack time … and with summer here all that time at the pool. There are so many times and places …

    my little guy has genetic disorders so we are ALWAYS bouncing between appts at the local children’s hospital which is roughly an hour from our house… pending traffic is cooperating. So I ALWAYS can use new things, items, gadgets and FOOD to entertain! :-)

    This is always good to have around – – ANYTIME we know we are going to be in the car for more that 30-45 minutes, we take the “car bag” filled with drinks, snacks & games! Thanks!

    I usually need to bring more than two bags when I go grocery shopping, but I usually forget to, so I am left with even more plastic bags.

    We travel to my in-laws almost every other weekend. It’s a one hour drive there and one hour back. This is a great idea for those drives!
