Spring is here and summer is on its way. For many of us with kids, that means an increase in activities and outings and crazy schedules. Lance Sandwich Crackers knows how crazy life can get for mom, so giving the Mom on the Run some easy ways to stay calm and cool during the busy summer season.

I love the idea of having a spontaneity bag always at the ready, and this is something that we’ve incorporated into our daily routine lately. We’re constantly running between gymnastics, t-ball and baseball, so having a bag of necessities with a few special goodies for my youngest who’s just along for the ride makes these hectic days a little easier. Items I like to keep on hand are sunscreen, bug repellent, snacks and bottles of water, a first aid kit, travel baby wipes and a few toys to help entertain my toddler. It’s been a real life saver!

    I’m always in need of keeping a spontaneity bag handy for our numerous stops we make all throughout the week. Along with three children attending three different schools, our activities range from choir, dance, swimming, soccer, church and scouts…and, there’s always a moment where somebody is hungry or needs a quick energy snack while we’re on the go. Along with our healthful snack items, we always make sure we have our reusable water bottles, sports chairs for watching games, extra blankets, jackets and appropriate weather gear. You’d be SURPRISED how many times other well-intentioned moms “forgot” it was their turn at snack for church, soccer or scouts and our spontaneity bag came in so handy in providing our lil’ troopers with just enough snacks and drinks to get them through their games or events!     I am always in need of a spontaneity bag! I’m a single mom of a VERY active 5 year old girl and we are always on the move! Between working lots if hours and being in the road A LOT…a spontaneity bag always comes in handy!!! We always have snacks, drinks, toiletries, and extra clothes in the car! We never know where we might end up!!

    (1) I feel like I ALWAYS have to have a spontaneity bag! I have an 11yr old with special needs…if hunger arrives and we’re not prepared…well, it’s not pretty! lol

    Everywhere! Have 3 kids under the age of 9. Every time we have to go to dance class, swimming lessons, grandma’s house- anywhere, there’s always one of them that is left out and needs something to do or eat, etc.
