Win-It Wednesday: Klutz Guide to the Galaxy Prize Pack (3 Winners)!

May 11, 2011 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday, with 24-hour giveaways just for you!

If you were ever obsessed with the bright lights that fill the night sky as a child, then you’ll know the magic that it contains for young minds. Foster that interest in your own child by opening up the universe to them and letting them explore the stars and the planets that are out there beyond Earth. Scholastic has a fantastic interactive activity book, Klutz Guide to the Galaxy, that does just that.

About the Book: Explore the universe without leaving the comfort of your backyard. When the scientists at Klutz Labs tackle outer space, they not only ask questions like “Where’s the Big Dipper” but also “If I lived on planet Mercury, am I already old enough to drive?” Use the included telescope, red light for night use, sundial, and astrolab to start exploring our great galaxy.

Three Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a Klutz Guide To The Galaxy Prize Pack that includes:

  • The Klutz Guide to the Galaxy
  • Backyard Stars
  • Backyard Stars
  • Invasion of the Bristlebots
  • The Solar Car Book

To enter, tell me: Were you ever obsessed with the stars and exploring space as a child?

I loved to sleep on the front lawn, looking up at the stars. I never learned much more than how to locate the Big Dipper, though!

As a kid I would spend some summer nights ‘camping out’ in the backyard and was always fond of gazing up at the stars and wondering if life existed on any one of them.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
