Win-It Wednesday: Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and New K-Cups!

November 10, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 2,351 Comments

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting a 24-hour giveaway to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’ve shared my thoughts on Keurig Single-Cup Brewers in the past, and I still love my Keurig just as much today.

I’m always up for trying new K-cup flavors, so I was happy to test drive the new Millstone and Folgers varieties.

Millstone coffee and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are made from the same high quality beans already available on-shelf in over 50 blends, and offer the exceptional taste that both brand’s passionate coffee drinkers have come to expect. The superior taste is the result of both brand’s precise “bean to cup” process that involves an intricate method of growing, roasting, and blending to ensure each cup of coffee delivers a unique coffee drinking experience.

I really enjoyed them, with the Folgers Black Silk K-cups being the one I liked the best. I like my coffee strong and bold, so this one was the closest to what I would typically buy. The Millstone Hazelnut K-cups were fun for a change of pace. They’re perfect for an after-dinner treat in lieu of a decadent dessert!

Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are available in the following flavors:

  • Millstone Breakfast Blend (Fair Trade Certified)
  • Millstone Hazelnut Cream
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Black Silk
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian Decaf
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Vanilla Biscotti

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and four samples of the new Millstone and Folgers K-Cup varieties!

My best tip is to get everything prepped the night before. I will pack lunches and lay out clothes for the kids and I so we are not rushing to prepare or make decisions in the morning. School bags are also packed the night before.

To manage the hetic mornings I always get up and get myself ready before waking the rest of the house up. Gives me that me time to get ready for the day before the chaos starts.

I always lay out our clothes and pack lunches. My husband leaves very early so I get up with him so I can shower (need it in the am to help me wake up) and make breakfast before my grandson gets up. I always put my coffee in a travel mug in the am so I can just top it off and take it with me on the way out the door.

We have 3 boys & 2 of them have to be at school by 715 am. We have a reward system for getting ready on time and out the door. Each child gets to pick a “reward” at the end of the week if they have been on time all week. If it weren’t for my coffee I would be sure to fall asleep getting them ready!! This would make an amazing gift for my husband!! BTW…love your site :)

I have everything going at once in the morning: Flip the coffee maker on, plug in the curling iron, and put bread in the toaster. Multitasking is the only way I get through a hectic morning.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...
