Win-It Wednesday: Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and New K-Cups!

November 10, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 2,351 Comments

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting a 24-hour giveaway to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’ve shared my thoughts on Keurig Single-Cup Brewers in the past, and I still love my Keurig just as much today.

I’m always up for trying new K-cup flavors, so I was happy to test drive the new Millstone and Folgers varieties.

Millstone coffee and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are made from the same high quality beans already available on-shelf in over 50 blends, and offer the exceptional taste that both brand’s passionate coffee drinkers have come to expect. The superior taste is the result of both brand’s precise “bean to cup” process that involves an intricate method of growing, roasting, and blending to ensure each cup of coffee delivers a unique coffee drinking experience.

I really enjoyed them, with the Folgers Black Silk K-cups being the one I liked the best. I like my coffee strong and bold, so this one was the closest to what I would typically buy. The Millstone Hazelnut K-cups were fun for a change of pace. They’re perfect for an after-dinner treat in lieu of a decadent dessert!

Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are available in the following flavors:

  • Millstone Breakfast Blend (Fair Trade Certified)
  • Millstone Hazelnut Cream
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Black Silk
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian Decaf
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Vanilla Biscotti

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and four samples of the new Millstone and Folgers K-Cup varieties!

we avoid hectic mornings by allowing plenty of time and ensuring all three kids are dressed, hair brushed, etc before breakfast. so after that we can enjoy ourselves til it’s time to leave!

I try to get as much done the night before as I can: dishes, toys picked up, etc. so when the morning comes and the little ones are running amuck clamoring for nanas and oats I can escape to coffee land with my vanilla cinnamon creamer.

I pack up and ready as much as I can the night before, outfits laid out, coffee ready to brew, lunches packed, back packs ready and car packed up – that helps our mornings go much smoother! thanks!

Hi DSM! I would love to try out the Keruig and Millstone/Folgers samples. I am a mother of a 3yr old and 6mon old so my mornings are very busy! My husband always has the coffee made and I pour a cup as soon as I wake up and it goes with me everywhere. It’s a must on all my mornings. I really like my flavored creamers but know it’s not good for me:) instead I would love to brew a single cup of flavored coffee like the K-cups! Oh you would make my day! I already subscribe to your daily emails but I did go to FB and joined Keurig and DSM. Thanks for the chance to win!!!

My best tips for surviving a hectic morning:

    1) Get everything packed and ready the night before (and packed in the car if possible)
    2) Have lots of lists — what you need to do in the morning, what you need to take with you, etc.

When my toddler isn’t up early, I like to relax with a cup of coffee and read my Bible. Best way to prepare for a hectic day is by giving it to God!

My biggest trick is getting the kids ready and able to get themselves off to school on time. I would love to win this for the coffee drinkers in the house!!

Every evening I lay out my clothes for the next day, as well as my kids. That cuts down on “sock-hunting” time significantly in the morning. Also gives me some extra time to get the caffeine rolling before we head out.

For hectic mornings, I grab a cup of coffee to take with me on my long drive to work. I listen to my audiobook on the way to work to relax and deal with the commute as I sip on my coffee! :) By the time I’m at work, I’m awake and ready to work for the next 8 hours!!
