Win-It Wednesday: Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and New K-Cups!

November 10, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 2,351 Comments

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting a 24-hour giveaway to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’ve shared my thoughts on Keurig Single-Cup Brewers in the past, and I still love my Keurig just as much today.

I’m always up for trying new K-cup flavors, so I was happy to test drive the new Millstone and Folgers varieties.

Millstone coffee and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are made from the same high quality beans already available on-shelf in over 50 blends, and offer the exceptional taste that both brand’s passionate coffee drinkers have come to expect. The superior taste is the result of both brand’s precise “bean to cup” process that involves an intricate method of growing, roasting, and blending to ensure each cup of coffee delivers a unique coffee drinking experience.

I really enjoyed them, with the Folgers Black Silk K-cups being the one I liked the best. I like my coffee strong and bold, so this one was the closest to what I would typically buy. The Millstone Hazelnut K-cups were fun for a change of pace. They’re perfect for an after-dinner treat in lieu of a decadent dessert!

Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are available in the following flavors:

  • Millstone Breakfast Blend (Fair Trade Certified)
  • Millstone Hazelnut Cream
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Black Silk
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian Decaf
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Vanilla Biscotti

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and four samples of the new Millstone and Folgers K-Cup varieties!

I get up earlier than the rest of the family to enjoy my first cup of coffee in peace. It helps me stay focused and keep the kids on task before we head out the door. We also do nightly backpack checks before bed so there is no last minute scramble before school.

I use a programmable coffee pot for those extra hectic mornings. The sound of the grinder helps get me up quickly. I’ve always wanted to try one of these machines! Especially on the days I forget to set my coffee pot!

I’m a stay at home mom to three teens. I cook a real breakfast every morning before school and homeschool my middle child. I plan complete menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner the previous week so I know what I’m making for breakfast the night before and I wake up about 15 minutes before the first kid so I’m not rushed. A gourmet cup of coffee is always appreciated as I start out my son’s Bible lesson at 8 every morning. Much more appreciated than grocery store brand coffee!

My mornings are crazy getting myself ready for work and getting two toddlers ready for daycare. I cope by waiting to have my first cup of coffee until I get to work. Stinks when traffic is really bad and I don’t have any to sip on in traffic, but I manage! haha

I get my coffee pot set up the night before and as soon as I get out of the shower the smell of fresh brewed coffee fills my nose! I am able to enjoy it in peace and quiet before my husband or son get up. When it is time I pour a cup for my husband, head up the stairs, and wake him with a cup to start his day! I get my quiet time and he has a smile on his face because of me and a wonderful cup of coffee! The mornings are always better with coffee and a smile!

I get everything ready before I go to bed. I am a full time mom and also work full time from home. I start working at 5am so my coffee is set to start brewing at that time so its hot and ready for me. :)

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...
