Win-It Wednesday: Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and New K-Cups!

November 10, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 2,351 Comments

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting a 24-hour giveaway to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’ve shared my thoughts on Keurig Single-Cup Brewers in the past, and I still love my Keurig just as much today.

I’m always up for trying new K-cup flavors, so I was happy to test drive the new Millstone and Folgers varieties.

Millstone coffee and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are made from the same high quality beans already available on-shelf in over 50 blends, and offer the exceptional taste that both brand’s passionate coffee drinkers have come to expect. The superior taste is the result of both brand’s precise “bean to cup” process that involves an intricate method of growing, roasting, and blending to ensure each cup of coffee delivers a unique coffee drinking experience.

I really enjoyed them, with the Folgers Black Silk K-cups being the one I liked the best. I like my coffee strong and bold, so this one was the closest to what I would typically buy. The Millstone Hazelnut K-cups were fun for a change of pace. They’re perfect for an after-dinner treat in lieu of a decadent dessert!

Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are available in the following flavors:

  • Millstone Breakfast Blend (Fair Trade Certified)
  • Millstone Hazelnut Cream
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Black Silk
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian Decaf
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Vanilla Biscotti

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and four samples of the new Millstone and Folgers K-Cup varieties!

Mornings are hectic for every mom. The key is staying relaxed, keeping stress levels down, and have fun with the kids as the morning routine is executed. Drinking the cup of coffee is necessary fuel to make it all happen.

My mornings are hectic with 3 kids and 2 of them are in school. My kids have to have there clothes out at night so there is no problem with that. I always have my 1st cup of coffee before they wake up and if I don’t, I am not awake..I started drinking coffee when I had kids-over 8 years ago. I also st my timer on my coffee pot so it is ready when I wake up.

I lay out the things we need the night before, pack my diaper bag up, get any snacks we need ready, I make sure I have a change of clothes for the kids in the car. I put everything on a table by the garage door so I don’t forget anything!

I would say that having outfits picked out and lunches put together the night before helps us. Mornings are not too busy but having to measure out coffee that would make it enjoyable! Thanks for the giveaway!

Try to set the coffee pot up the night before so I don’t have to remember to do it in the morning…thats how I cut down on chaos…that and try to lay out/organize as much the night before.

Put creamer powder and sugar in cup the night before with a spoon. Pour and go. How nice if I won this just to be able to make one cup.

I actually don’t have a hectic morning, I take my time to wake up naturally, putter around my quiet home while others are sleeping. I make a bit of coffee but since I am the only one who driks it.. lots get wasted which is why I would LOVE the Keurig!

Pre pack left over for lunches at night before I clean the kitchen. Prep coffee at night – Our family does shakes for breakfast with protein. I will also make a extra batch of waffles or pancakes on weekends and pop that in the toaster for breakfast.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...
