Win-It Wednesday: Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and New K-Cups!

November 10, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 2,351 Comments

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting a 24-hour giveaway to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’ve shared my thoughts on Keurig Single-Cup Brewers in the past, and I still love my Keurig just as much today.

I’m always up for trying new K-cup flavors, so I was happy to test drive the new Millstone and Folgers varieties.

Millstone coffee and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are made from the same high quality beans already available on-shelf in over 50 blends, and offer the exceptional taste that both brand’s passionate coffee drinkers have come to expect. The superior taste is the result of both brand’s precise “bean to cup” process that involves an intricate method of growing, roasting, and blending to ensure each cup of coffee delivers a unique coffee drinking experience.

I really enjoyed them, with the Folgers Black Silk K-cups being the one I liked the best. I like my coffee strong and bold, so this one was the closest to what I would typically buy. The Millstone Hazelnut K-cups were fun for a change of pace. They’re perfect for an after-dinner treat in lieu of a decadent dessert!

Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are available in the following flavors:

  • Millstone Breakfast Blend (Fair Trade Certified)
  • Millstone Hazelnut Cream
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Black Silk
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian Decaf
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Vanilla Biscotti

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and four samples of the new Millstone and Folgers K-Cup varieties!

If you take your lunch to work, it is so much easier to get it all prepared the night before.
And, honestly, I can’t function without my coffee every morning.

This giveaway is great! To handle hectic mornings, I try to prep as much as I can the night before. I pick out what clothes my two kids are going to wear (they are 7 weeks old and almost 2). I make sure that the diaper bag is well stocked and I make sure I keep track of where their shoes are. Drinking coffee every morning…and night gives me the extra boost I need!

At the moment, I make a quick cup of Starbucks Via because it’s so quick and piping hot and then I sit with my toddler and watch cartoons. But I would love something cheaper!

I usually get started with a cup of coffee in the mornings. There is nothing better than having things together the night before and having a shot of caffeine to jump start the day!

To make our mornings go smoothly, I lay out the kids clothing the night before so it is all ready for them.

I pack everything that needs to be packed the night before and set the timer on the coffee machine. I try to make sure we all have plenty of time to get ready, but that never seems to work.

For the hectic mornings-get lunches made the night before-get out dishes and utensils for breakfast, get kids outfits out for the next day and everything needed to be put in car-put right by the door-not to be forgotten on the way out the door.
Would love to win the Keurig-been wanting to get one-haven’t been able to yet.
    Thanks!!!

I always plan the night before, that way I’m not running around like a maniac. Coffee is the only thing that keeps me alert and I need to be with a family and 120 students.

The night before we set out outfits for the kids and myself, get lunches prepared and backpack ready. This helps cut down on confusion and stress in the mornings. I also have the coffee ready to go the night before so there is no waiting in the morning.

I get as many things ready as I can: putting bags and backpacks by the front door; setting out cereal bowls, glasses and spoons out before going to bed. Love to grind fresh coffee beans to make fresh coffee
