We just got back from Florida. It’s a long trip with 3 children and 2 dogs. Especially when my husband is deployed and I have to do it by myself. But it’s always worth it to spend time with our family.

The last road trip was to Myrtle Beach. They have this hotel that has a huge water park attached to it. My husband and I can let the kids go and become fish all day while we just relax in the sun. The best part is that we are all together and everyone gets what they want. Plus the beach is nearby so we can have that too.

Our last big roadtrip was a 2500 mile (one-way) drive to Alberta, Canada.
Then we returned and took almost 2x as long as we got in a snowstorm .

No real road trip vacations for us. Road trips if you count the baseball games, tournaments, and all the sport stuff. We had about 1 week of down time and then football camp started. Kids keep you busy and running and I only have 1. School starts here on the 11th so relaxing trying to get everything in for next week.

We went to Santa Rosa for my niece’s baby shower. It was a 2 hour car trip one way. We survived though. I had snacks for our daughter. Peanut butter in to go cups would be easy and much neater.
