Between camps, vacations and warm weather activities, summer is a busy time of the year for many families.     For our family of 4, our last road trip was to Fort Morgan, Alabama for a week at the beach! We had a blast, but 12 hours on the road is a long time for a 3 year old and 5 year old. Having something like Jif to Go would have been wonderful to have in the car when the kids got the munchies!

    Road trip from JAX to Orlando for a meeting. Huge accident on I4 backed up traffic for hours…would’ve been nice to have this GPS then!

    My last road trip was about 2 wks ago. It was my 11 yr old and myself. I let him navigate. That was interesting. We went to visit his cousin in Tennessee. We live in Ohio. He told me wrong directions a few times and we got list. LOL. He was a little upset but I told him that was the fun part if us getting there. We ended up getting there about 2 hours late. But that will be time that he will remember for the rest if his life. I know I cherished every moment of it. :)

    Great blog! I also try to get the most out of my money considering my profession!

    My last road trip was to Disneyland! I got discounted tickets, discounted hotel, and discounted food! In the end, I ended up with enough money to go on another discounted trip to Las Vegas later this month!

    I drove for 4 hours each way so my baby could see her grandma who drove up from FL while I drove down from Atlanta. 8hrs round trip sucked but to see her squeal when she saw her “me me” was awesome!
