Between camps, vacations and warm weather activities, summer is a busy time of the year for many families.     Road trip to Lake George, NY. Awesome place…check out Canoe Island Lodge as the place to stay. Aforable. This was our 6th year going back…its that good

    Our last road trip was from Missouri to New Jersey. We drove all 2000 miles with two adults and two children (ages 15 and 5). My youngest gets car sick, so it was a LONG trip. We stopped twice for overnight stays along the way. It was great family time, but we will definitely fly from now on!! LOL.

    The last road trip I went on was to take my son and granddaughter to Spokane Washington from Montana so they could fly home after my Brother’s funeral

    Our last trip was to Connectucut (from Pennsylvania) to visit some of my hubby’s family we don’t get to see very often. His Aunt/Cousin/Cousin’s baby flew up from Georgia too. It was sooo nice for the kids to play together :) We printed maps, and guess what? We got lost on the way home. All in fun, we ended driving across the George Washington Bridge outside of New York City.

    The last roadtrip I went on was to Indiana – it was a wonderful getaway! We went to French Lick, and left our little boy with his grandparents. It was only our second time alone since he was born!

    We last went to Pittsburgh, PA (from MO) to visit my sister & took 2 days. Our current GPS is old & not much help with the construction along the way. We plan to go again this year and the snacks would be a blessing to 2 growing, always very hungry kids :)

    I can’t remember the last real road trip we went on…. however, we do field trips with our school and daycare quite often.
